The Scottish Championship league campaign draws to a close tonight and there's still a few issues remain unresolved before we head in to the play-offs.
Despite a distasterous season Raith Rovers can still mathematically sneak in to the play-offs at the expense of Partick Thistle. They need to win at Kilmarnock, Thistle would need to lose at Ayr, plus they'd need an 8-goal swing in the goal difference.
The first piece of good news for Raith is that Kilmarnock wrapped up the title last weekend and they could catch them nursing a promotion hangover. It's a case of job-done for Killie and we've seen plenty of teams switch off for the season once their main aim has been achieved. So Raith at 12/5 to finish with a win isn't the worst shout.
The second ray of hope for Rovers is that Partick's opponents Ayr are scrapping for their lives at the bottom. They lead Dunfermline by just a point but with the Pars at home to already relegated Queen of the South, the Honest Men know that they'll need to take care of business on their own in order to avoid a play-off to stay in the division.
The Raith/Ayr Double pays a tidy 7/1 at Bet365.
A Dunfermline win could be too little too late for John Hughes' side. They've toiled all season but their home form has been better recently. They've been backed in from 4/6 to 1/2 to win tonight but you can still get a bit of value by backing them to score two or more on their way to all three points at 20/23 at Bet365.
In the Norwegian Second tier, Bryne are looking a bit out of their depth already. Four defeats, all by two goals to one, sees them rooted to the bottom of the table. Opponents Mjondalen, who were an Eliteserien side last term, have picked up 10 points from their opening 12. Mjondalen look like they should be a bit shorter than the 8/11 available at SBK and Bet365.
Double that up with goals in Maastricht v Ajax Reserves to make up a 23/20 Double. Despite being 7th in the tabel Ajax's second string have scored most goals in Holland's second tier. Opponents Maastricht have conceded more than anyone else and there's been 22 goals in the last four meetings between the sides.

I was just randomly flicking through odds on todays fixtures and was really shocked to see the price on a Mjøndalen win/ Mjøndalen 2+ goals, especially as they’ve won all 3 home games this season and they play a Bryne side who are flat bottom of league after losing all of their opening 4 games.
Mjøndalen were relegated from the Eliteserian last year and should be way too strong for struggling Bryne. Bryne have lost all 4 games this season and conceded 2 goals in all 4 games. (They’ve lost all 4 games to the same 2-1 scoreline).
I considered going for Mjøndalen to win at 10/11 but I’ll stick with goals and 4/5 for second top Mjøndalen has to be taken on at home to struggling Byrne in my
Opinion. Add Mjøndalen double chance to bump odds to even money if you feel the need but I’ll stick with 2+ goals.

Admin has checked his posting history and when he checked his posts , that’s when it’s became very apparent that he has been stealing the tips and fooling everyone on here that they were his own.

Some are similar to others, as are many other tipsters on here. It’s bound to happen. Me posting ONE tip that is the same as Greg’s doesn’t make me the fraud I’m being accused of being. As I’ve said – it’s not rocket science to back a team top of the league to score 2+ at home to bottom of the league.
Fitzy – I am who I say I am. My Twitter handle is @K_R_Jones – you can see for yourself. I’m also not plagiarising tips. ONE tip the same as someone else’s is not plagiarism.
Boabee – my NAPs are sometimes the same as admin posts in daily write ups etc and it’s always a bit awkward posting them because if it, but they are my own thoughts. Usually I post a comment about how I’m aware it’s the same as admin but I’ll post anyway. Bets often overlap.

Greg Browning – Are you saying those bets are yours? I’m sorry that you felt you had to Come on here to call me out for ‘fooling’ people and ‘stealing’ tips. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. If you/admin take the time to check all my bets (I’ve given you recent ones but you could go back months and months) and compare to yours, you’d see there’s no foul play on my part. I place hundreds of bets on here, it’s law of averages that one or two are the same as yours/others, especially on days like today where fixtures are slim.
Greg – I see you (and others on here) as a sort of mentor. I’ve followed your tips on here and elsewhere for years and listen to your podcast religiously (even getting a shout out one week for spotting a good value Celtic corner bet) and I’ll admit that it’s down to you that I focus a lot on Norway and Scotland. This is almost certainly why some bets might be similar. But I assure you I have not been taking your tips and posting them here. You can check through archives and see for yourself – the evidence is all on here!

Admit that I am influenced by some of your betting angles and I now focus my attention on Norway as well as other leagues. But I’m influenced by many tipsters, Twitter sites, friends etc who have good knowledge on leagues or betting angles. I’m always trying to improve, find different angles etc to gain profit.
But to say ‘most’ of my bets on here are alike to yours is completely inaccurate. For example, most of my NAPS over recent months involved: Celtic corners, Celtic first half handicap corners, Paksi goals, Bayern Munich goals, Leverkusen goals, Worthing and Enfield over 2.5 goals from the Isthmian premier league, Stockport, Wrexham. I could go on. These are my regular NAPs and absolutely none are taken from or even influenced by you. Most regulars on here will no doubt remember my NAPs including the teams I’ve just mentioned.
The Mjondalen and Stromgodset bets are easily explained.
🔘Mjondalen goals – team second in the league at home to bottom of the league who’ve conceded 2 in every game. It’s not a surprise that more than one person might tip Mjøndalen to score 2+ goals.
🔘Godset v Sandefjord- a quick look on thestatsdontlie website soon points out that top corner count at home playing top corner count away means a bet on match corners is worthwhile.
As I say, we all learn from each other on here and I’d not be one bit bothered if another tipster put up Paksi o2.5 goals of Celtic 8+ corners as a tip based on what they’ve learned from my regular NAPs. It’s all about helping each other.
All I can hope now is a line can be drawn under this and my name isn’t sullied because I’ve felt very much at home and welcomed on this site. I think that is shown in how surprised people are at what’s been posted tonight.
I’ve enjoyed every second posting and conversing with others on here and I hope to continue that.

Celtic corners were pretty much championed by me on the channel and the podcast so naturally it stands out like a sore thumb that a lot of your bets are Celtic corners related.
I wasn’t disputing more than one person can tip an outcome, the point I was trying to make was I posted an outcome and that outcome appears on here 30 mins later. That’s the part that doesn’t look great as you were sent that tip 30 mins prior to posting it.
I genuinely believe you are a decent guy and put a lot of effort into things, I guess in terms of perception when i see the insight and betting angles that i share with you and I then see them on here with very similar write ups, styles and lay out etc, I don’t think it’s unreasonable of me to think that you are taking them as your own.
Like I said, I don’t want this to impact your contribution on here so happy to draw a line in the sand and leave it at that 👍🏼

Surprised at Kris Jones or whoever he really is, think I can’t get my head round Is that if I post a winner and anyone follows and offers thanks, that gives me a wee buzz, but posting someone else’s tips as your own??.
What personal satisfaction do you get from that when the thanks come in and it’s not your tip, proper head scratcher that one, anyway each to their own.
Ive got nothing against him for doing it, he hasn’t broken any laws and is sharing someone else’s opinion on a football match but like I say I don’t see what his motives are

I’ve said my piece above in a bid to clear my name. My tip tonight was the same as Greg’s – that doesn’t mean I stole it, it means this one particular time my tip just so happens to the the same as his. This happens all the time. Nobody owns the market. Tips overlap all the time. For someone following the Norwegian leagues (which I do thanks to Gregs excellent podcast) it’s hardly a surprise that top of the league Mjøndalen get tipped to score 2+ goals at home to bottom of the league Bryne by more than one person when the price is a shade under evens.
I understand Greg’s frustration at the thought of his tips being stolen but he shouldn’t have called me out like that. It’s one similar tip. If it was several then he’d have half a point but one same tip doesn’t constitute me “stealing tips and posting them for some time.”
I get that same buzz you spoke about Elvis and I’ll keep posting on here despite what’s happened tonight because I love looking at stats, finding patterns, beating bookies and helping others make a few quid.
Every bet I’ve ever placed is on here in black and white, with fully researched write ups. The proof is there that shoes I don’t steal bets.

In the interests of clarity & fairness, all the numerous DeeTee / Sh0rt33 sock accounts have probably confused things a little.
Having read Kris Jones’ explanation (above), it’s refreshing to see Kris is a real person and NOT another of DeeTee’s fantasy personas.
With regard to “stealing” Greg’s content, it’s a difficult one. If Kris were a member of a private members site & was copy/pasting content directly over here, that’s clearly nicking content (as DeeTee does)
However, I’m sure I’m not the only person checking other tip-type sites each day to shortlist suggestions/ideas. Often, these tips are remarkably similar to tips other people subsequently post on this forum (great minds etc)
I suppose the real key question is:
Is Greg’s income (or membership numbers) being detrimentally affected by Kris Jones’ posts on this MFT site? (subject to Kris not directly lifting Greg’s content verbatim)

When your bets are heavily influenced by others, it would be good if you gave a bit of credit to those that have steered you in the right decision instead of claiming them as your own.

Looks like Burnley sacking Dyche has given them a lift just at the right time.
I’m still sick to my stomach regarding his dismissal, Dyche had earned the right to leave on his own terms and remains a legend. Relegation should not have been factored into the decision IMO, delivered miracles for years on a paperstring budget. Nice little bounce in terms of results since but still think we are going down. Dread to think who is going to get appointed as his successor.
