French Ligue 2: Over 1.5 goals is king

FRIDAY nights are now at full flight with all our favourite leagues back in action and as usual I will be focusing on the Austrian Eerste Division and French Ligue 2.

Last Friday's French over 1.5 goals NAP landed and I'm sticking to the over 1.5 market in a league that offers terrific value for goals if you can find the right games.

I've looked through tonight's matches and have picked out an over 1.5 goals double long with the all 7 Austrian games over 1.5 goals. I did look at Motherwell v Hearts but it's really tough to call and with Hearts missing Steven Naismith, Motherwell are capable edging of at Fir Park.

Nancy vs Le Mans (7pm)

The hosts have become draw specialists this season having drawn their opening three matches but have a great chance to get three points on the board against early-season strugglers  Le Mans.

Its a first meeting of the sides in nine years but those interested in H2H the last 10 meetings  have all saw over 1.5 goals.

Le Mans have saw their matches end 1-2, 1-2, 1-2 and 0-2 and I don't see them keeping a clean sheet today especially away from home.

Grenoble Foot vs Troyes (7pm)

After a fine opening-day 2-0 win away at Niort it's been a disastrous few weeks for Troyes after a hat-trick of 2-1 defeats including a midweek cup exit at home to Lens.

Positive point here from a betting perspective  is they have scored in every game but have conceded 6 goals in their last three matches.

The last 10 meetings between the sides have seen at least two goals and that bodes well tonight  – Grenoble more than capable of scoring against this suspect Troyes defence.
