IT'S a tough weekend and the weather is already threatening to play its part.
Tranmere vs Fleetwood was called off yesterday and that was a pity for our new spread betting columnist Sam Spread who had earmarked the match.

I didn't get time to put tips up yesterday but would have backed Portsmouth and Hibs but not Norwich to beat Leicester who are in danger of blowing their Champions League hopes.
Hibs booked the first Scottish Cup semi-final place with victory against Inverness and there are two other ties tonight – Hearts vs Rangers and St Mirren vs Aberdeen and I'm looking forward to both.

My NAP today is the 10/11 (SkyBet) on offer for each team to take a corner in each half and both teams to collect 10+ booking points in the West Ham v Southampton match. A huge game for the Hammers in their fight for survival when they come up against a Southampton side who are now as close to the top four as they are to the bottom three. A word of warning on my team Falkirk who are being heavily backed to win at Broadwood today. Indeed, the Bairns are on a long unbeaten run in League 1, however, it’s never pretty and we make the trip to Clyde without our top-goalscorer Declan McManus. Clyde have won the previous two meetings this season and our large travelling support tends to see the Bully Wee raise their game. Macca. I think you should stop saying liverool will win by 3 4 or 5 goals every game. Because it wont happen. They are 22 points in front of city and dont need to hammer teams to get the 12 points needed to win the league. I am a liverpool fan but i cant see them going the season unbeaten once they win the league i think klopp will give some of the kids a start. Just lost them a trophy? There’s probably a wee chance they wouldn’t have been winning it anyway. In 2 years he’s spent over £20 million quid (plus numerous free transfers from the EPL) and managed 1 cup final appearance, (which he lost, to a team down to 10 men without 4 of their first choice 11) finished 9 points adrift, and is currently odds on to finish even further behind than that this year.
