Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Bundesliga, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals.

⚽️ Wolfsburg vs Borussia Dortmund

🇩🇪 Bundesliga

⏰ Tuesday 8th November, 17:00

Two of the form teams in the Bundesliga meet at the Volkswagen Arena in the early evening kick-off on Tuesday as Wolfsburg host Borussia Dortmund in what promises to be an entertaining encounter.

After enduring a tough start to this season in which they collected just five points from their opening seven matches, Wolfsburg come into this fixture unbeaten in each of their previous six Bundesliga matches. Niko Kovač’s side followed up their comfortable 4-0 victory over bottom side Bochum by winning 0-3 at Mainz to climb them up into 11th spot. The Wolves have found the back of the net 13 times across their six Bundesliga fixtures on home soil, scoring on multiple occasions in five of them. Wolfsburg have shipped 10 goals across those six league matches at the Volkswagen Arena, only keeping clean sheets against the bottom two sides in the table.

After failing to win each of their opening three Bundesliga matches last month, Dortmund come into this fixture having won each of their last three league matches to leave them in fourth spot, just three points behind league leaders Bayern Munich. Edin Terzić’s visitors have found the back of the net in 11/13 of their Bundesliga tussles this season and come into this fixture having scored 14 goals across their previous six league outings. The Black and Yellows have claimed only one of their six league clean sheets on their travels this season, shipping 10 goals across those six road trips.

Bet of the Day

Borussia Dortmund travel to Lower Saxony off the back of three successive victories in the Bundesliga but face a tough test against a Wolfsburg side that is unbeaten in each of their previous six league outings. Both teams have been full of goals in recent weeks and I don’t see that changing here.

There’s been a whopping 23 goals scored across Wolfsburg’s six Bundesliga matches at the Volkswagen Arena, and given Dortmund’s last six league matches seeing a total of 22 goals, there’s a good chance we’ll see at least three strikes with both sides contributing in Lower Saxony on Tuesday.
