Wednesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me once again focus on the midweek action in the English Championship, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals.

Two clubs in the Championship who have made impressive starts to the campaign meet at Carrow Road tomorrow evening as 2nd-placed Leicester travel to 4th-placed Norwich in what promises to be an entertaining affair.
After six rounds of matches, David Wagner’s hosts are the leading scorers in the Championship, scoring on 15 occasions. The Canaries are one of five clubs in the English second tier to have found the back of the net in each of their opening six Championship fixtures – banging in multiple goals in four (67%) of them – and they will look to trouble a Foxes defence that has registered a solitary clean sheet in the league this campaign, with that coming away at Huddersfield (18th) on Matchday 2.
Enzo Maresca’s visitors have scored 11 goals across their opening six Championship fixtures this campaign, with seven (64%) of them coming across their three matches on their travels. The Foxes have only failed to score at home to Hull City (5th) in the league this season – striking two or more goals in four (67%) of their matches – and they will look to breach a Norwich defence that has registered two clean sheets across their opening six league outings, however, both have come against Huddersfield (18th) and Stoke (19th).

Norwich’s fixtures in the Championship have averaged a whopping 3.83 goals per game this season, with Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5
Goals landing in 4/6 (67%) of them – and given 4/6 (67%) of Leicester’s league contests this campaign have also seen this land – I'm happy to have a punt on there being a minimum of three goals, with both sides contributing in what promises to be an entertaining encounter in Norfolk on Wednesday night.
