Looking to make it an incredible nine winners in a row, Monday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the English National League, and one fixture in particular appeals to me for goals.

Two of the most entertaining teams at the start of the National League season meet at Mill Farm this afternoon as newly promoted Fylde play host to Altrincham in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
After securing the National League North title last season, AFC Fylde began life in the National League by coming from two goals down to draw 2-2 away at Maidenhead. Adam Murray’s men have since gone on to lose three of their next four league outings – including a 3-1 defeat at recently relegated Hartlepool on Saturday- with their solitary victory coming in a 2-1 success over fellow newly-promoted Kidderminster. The Coasters have found the back of the net in each of their opening five National League fixtures, scoring nine goals, and they’ll look to breach an Altrincham defence still without a clean sheet this term.
Altrincham have made a strong start to their National League campaign, as they currently sit in 6th position, just three points behind early pace-setters Hartlepool. After drawing three of their opening four league matches (W1-D3-L0), Phil Parkinson’s men scored twice in the final 10 minutes to defeat promotion favourites Chesterfield 2-1 at home on Saturday afternoon. Like their hosts, The Robins have made the net bulge in all five of their league encounters, also scoring on nine occasions, and they will aim to breach a Fylde defence still yet to register a shutout themselves this term.

Both Teams to Score has landed in all five of both Fylde’s and Altrincham's National League fixtures this season – and given Over 2.5 Goals has also banked in 8/10 (80%) of the pair’s combined matches this term – I’m happy to have a punt on there to be a minimum of three strikes with both teams contributing in what should be an entertaining affair.
