Manchester United will look to seal fourth place in the Premier League table as they welcome under-achieving Chelsea to Old Trafford on Thursday night.
Manchester United claimed just their second away Premier League victory across their previous seven attempts at the weekend, as they defeated Bournemouth 0-1. However, Erik ten Hag’s men have been far more consistent at home, winning 13 and drawing three of their last 16 Premier League matches in front of their supporters. No side has collected more clean sheets and conceded fewer goals at home in the Premier League than United, recording 11 shutouts and conceding just eight goals across their 17 league outings on home turf.
Chelsea saw their two-match unbeaten run come to an end on Sunday as they lost 1-0 to newly-crowned Premier League champions Manchester City. Interim boss Frank Lampard has seen his side win just two of their previous 13 Premier League matches on their travels (W2-D4-L7), losing three of their last four. The Blues have failed to score in six of their previous 13 Premier League fixtures on the road, scoring just 11 goals.

Erik ten Hag has turned Old Trafford into a fortress once again this season, with The Red Devils unbeaten in each of their previous 16 Premier League fixtures in front of their supporters, winning 13 of them – and I’m backing them to collect another three points at home to a mighty under-achieving Chelsea side.
To bolster the odds, I’m more than happy to throw in under 4.5 match goals. All 13 of United’s Premier League fixtures at home have seen fewer than five goals, whilst only one of Chelsea’s 15 defeats in the league this campaign has broken the over 4.5 goals barrier.
