Thursday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the return of the Scottish Premiership, and I’m hoping my side collects all three points in what should be a competitive clash.

The Scottish Premiership returns tomorrow evening as new Rangers boss Michael Beale takes charge of his first match against Hibs at what will be a freezing Ibrox.
The Rangers board finally made the decision a week after their 1-1 draw at St Mirren in their last league outing to relieve Gio Van Bronckhorst of his duties as Rangers manager. Despite heading into the World Cup nine points behind bitter-rivals Celtic, The Gers have been strong at home in the league this season – winning seven and drawing one of their eight matches as hosts in the Scottish Premiership.
Lee Johnson is a manager under serious pressure, with his side coming into this fixture having lost six of their last seven league matches, leaving them languishing in eighth place in the table. The Hibees have also struggled on their travels this season, with the capital club losing six of their previous seven Premiership away fixtures, including each of their last four.

Rangers have scored 22 goals across their eight league matches at Ibrox this season – netting on multiple occasions in six of those – and I like the look of them bagging another double against a Hibs defence that’s shipped 16 goals across their last seven league outings.
