Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Spanish second tier, and there’s one side in particular that appeals to me collect all three points.

Leganés will look to continue their impressive run of form as they welcome Mirandés to the Estadio Municipal de Butarque on Tuesday evening.
It was a tough start to the season for Leganés, as they collected just four points from their opening eight league fixtures. However, Los pepineros have since gone on to lose just one of their next 10 league outings, climbing them up to ninth position in the Segunda table, just five points outside the playoffs. Imanol Idiakez’s side are unbeaten in each of their previous five matches as hosts, winning four of them.
Mirandés continued their fine run of form at home last time out as they defeated Albacete Balompié 4-2. Whilst that’s now three successive wins as hosts for Los Rojillos, it’s a different story when on their travels, as they boast the division’s worst away record. Joseba Etxeberria’s side remains the only team in the Spanish second tier yet to record an away win this season, with two of their three points collected on their travels coming against sides currently positioned inside the relegation zone.

Leganés head into this fixture as one of the most in-form sides in the Spanish second tier, with no side collecting more points over their last 10 matches than the 21 they have acquired. Imanol Idiakez’s side have won four and drawn one of their previous five fixtures as hosts and I like the look of them collecting another maximum at home to a Mirandés side that has collected just three points across their eight league matches on their travels.
