Friday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me delve into the Dutch second-tier and I like the look of the league leaders to continue their fine run of form.

Heracles will look to maintain their position at the top of the Eerste Divisie table as they take on 15th-placed De Graafschap at the Erve Asito in Almelo.
Heracles have bounced back from their 4-0 drubbing away at the talented Ajax youngsters by going on to win each of their next four matches – including a 1-2 victory at Den Bosch, which brought up last Friday’s Football Bet of the Day. Overall, John Lammers’ men have won seven of their opening nine league fixtures this season (W7-D-L1), leaving them two points clear of second-placed PEC Zwolle. Heracles are the joint-top scorers in the Dutch second-tier, having netted 24 goals in their opening nine league fixtures – with 13 of those coming in their four matches as hosts.
De Graafschap claimed just their second league victory of the season last time out as they won 2-0 at home to Jong AZ. Adrie Poldervaart’s men have struggled on their travels this season, losing three of their opening four away fixtures. Only three sides in the Dutch second-tier have conceded more goals than De Graafschap, with the Superboeren having let in 16 goals in their opening nine league fixtures – with 10 of those coming in their four away games.

Heracles come into this fixture having won each of their last four matches, and they’ll be confident of extending that run to five as they take on 15th-placed De Graafschap. Adrie Poldervaart’s visitors have lost 3/4 of their road trips this season, and I expect them to suffer more away-day misery against their bang-in-form hosts.
To boost up the price, I'm happy to add the hosts to make the net bulge at least twice. John Lammers’ men have the joint-best attack in the Dutch second-tier, having scored 24 times in their opening nine league outings – scoring on multiple occasions in eight of those fixtures – and they should have too much firepower for a De Graafschap defence that’s already let in 10 goals in their opening four road trips this season.
