Monday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the English National League, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals.

Two clubs separated by just two points in the National League table meet at Meadowbank tomorrow afternoon as Dorking plays host to Eastleigh.
Dorking claimed just their second win in their last 10 league matches last time out, as they defeated Maidstone United 3-2 which helped bring up this Bet of the Day. Marc White’s hosts are the fourth-highest scorers in the National League, scoring 42 goals across their opening 24 league outings. However, The Wanderers boast the division's leakiest defence, keeping just two clean sheets and shipping a whopping 54 goals.
Eastleigh suffered their fourth defeat from their last five league matches last time out, as they lost 0-2 at home to second-placed Wrexham. That was just the fifth time Lee Bradbury’s side have failed to score in the league this season, scoring 26 times across their opening 23 league fixtures. The Spitfires have kept seven clean sheets this season, but just two of those have come on their travels – shipping 19 goals across their 11 road trips.

Dorking have been an absolute dream for goal-backers this season, with their matches averaging a whopping 4.00 goals per match. Both sides have scored in 18/24 of their league fixtures this season, and with the same landing in 7/11 of Eastleigh’s away fixtures, there’s a strong chance we’ll see both clubs get on the scoresheet.
Collectively, Over 2.5 goals has landed in 17/23 (74%) of the pair’s respective home and away league fixtures this season and given either side's records at both ends of the pitch, there’s a strong chance we’ll see at least three strikes with both teams contributing.
