Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the English Premier League, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals and cards.

Luton will look to climb out of the relegation zone tomorrow evening as they welcome inconsistent Brighton to Kenilworth Road in a fixture that appeals to me for both goals and cards.

The Hatters have found the back of the net in 16/20 (80%) of their Premier League outings – including in 9/10 (90%) of them on home soil – and will look to breach a Brighton defence that has registered just two clean sheets in the Premier League this season, conceding 33 goals.
Roberto De Zerbi’s visitors have scored 38 goals across their opening 20 Premier League encounters this campaign, with 16 (42%) of them coming on their travels. The Seagulls have found the back of the net in all bar three of their league outings this term – scoring on multiple occasions in 10 (48%) of them – and will look to breach a Luton defence that has registered s solitary clean sheet in the Premier League this season, conceding 38 goals.

Brighton’s opening 21 Premier League fixtures this campaign are averaging 3.38 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score banking in a league-high 18 (86%) of them – and given the same has landed in 15/20 (75%) of Luton’s Premier League outings this term, including in 8/10 (80%) on home turf – I’m happy to have a punt on both of these sides finding the target once more.
