Manchester City will look to go within five points of league leaders Arsenal as they travel to the capital to take on an out-of-sorts Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea failed to build on their 2-0 victory over Bournemouth, as they drew 1-1 away at Nottingham Forest in what was a pretty poor performance. That success over The Cherries in their home league outing is The Blues' only victory in their previous seven in the Premier League, leaving them languishing in 10th position, 10 points behind Manchester United in fourth. Graham Potter’s side are yet to win against a fellow top-half side this season, collecting three points from a possible 18 (W0-D3-L3).
Despite taking a first-half lead, Manchester City surprisingly drew 1-1 at home to strugglers Everton last time out, meaning they head into this fixture eight points behind table-toppers Arsenal. Pep Guardiola’s side did win their previous away fixture 1-3 away at Leeds United, meaning they’ve won three of their last four in the league away from home. City are the leading scorers in the Premier League, scoring a whopping 44 goals across their opening 16 fixtures.

Chelsea and Manchester City both head into this fixture off the back of disappointing 1-1 draws, but I fully expect Pep’s visitors to return to winning ways against a Chelsea side that has won just one of their previous seven matches in the Premier League.
To increase the price, I’m more than happy to add in Graham Potter’s hosts to collect at least two cards. Chelsea have collected multiple cards in 12/16 of their Premier League fixtures this season, whilst City’s opponents have been shown two or more cards also in 12/16 of their league outings this season.
