Wednesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the match at Ibrox tomorrow evening, and I’ve come up with a bet builder to get the hosts onside.

⚽️ Rangers vs Motherwell

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Premiership

⏰ Wednesday 28th December, 19:45

Rangers will look to keep pace with league leaders Celtic as they welcome out-of-form Motherwell to Ibrox tomorrow evening.

Michael Beale maintained his 100% record as Rangers boss last Friday night with a 0-1 victory away at Ross County. Rangers have been near-perfect at Ibrox in the league this season, winning eight and drawing one of their nine league fixtures as hosts. The Gers have only failed to score at Celtic Park in the league this season, and are the second-highest scorers in the Premiership, netting 41 goals across their opening 18 encounters.

Despite racing into a two-goal lead, Motherwell failed to collect just their second league win at home this seasons last Friday night, as they drew 2-2 with away-day strugglers Kilmarnock. After winning three of their opening four league matches, Steven Hammell’s side have gone on to win just two of their next 13 Premiership matches, losing eight of them. The Steelmen have kept just two clean sheets in their previous 11 league matches, conceding on multiple occasions in seven of those.

Bet of the Day

To complete the bet builder, I’m happy to add in Motherwell to collect at least two cards and Rangers to collect at least one. The Gers have been carded in 14/18 of their league fixtures this season, whilst Motherwell have drawn a card from all 17 of their opponents. Rangers’ opponents have been shown multiple cards in all bar one of their Premiership matches so far this season, whilst The Steelemen have been shown two or more cards in 13 of their league matches.

  • Rangers to Win, Over 1.5 Goals, Rangers Over 0.5 Cards & Motherwell Over 1.5 Cards
  • Pays 6/5 (Bet Victor Bet Builder)
