Plymouth Argyle will look to maintain their position at the top of the League One table as they welcome mid-table Port Vale to Home Park tomorrow evening.
Plymouth dropped points for the second successive league game last time out as a 97th-minute equaliser from Ex-Crystal Palace defender Adrian Mariappa saw them draw 2-2 at Burton Albion. Nevertheless, Steven Schumacher’s side are unbeaten in 15 League One matches and still boasts a 100% record in front of their supporters in the league this season.
Port Vale returned to winning ways in the league last time out, as they defeated fellow mid-table side Charlton Athletic at Vale Park. Darrell Clarke’s side have won three times on their travels this season, but two of those came against two of the current bottom five, and they were thrashed 4-0 at Oxford United on their last road trip.

Plymouth doesn’t just top the points chart in League One, but they are also the leading scorers in the division, netting 39 goals across their opening 19 league fixtures this season.
What’s more, The Pilgrims have notched on multiple occasions in 12 of their previous 15 league tussles – as well as in seven of their last eight at home – and they look a great bet to bag another double against a Vale defence that’s kept just two clean sheets away from home – against Cambridge United (20th) and Burton Albion (23rd) – conceding 17 times.
