HOW come the games people want to bet on are the toughest to predict? It's usually the case and I've been mulling over how the top match in the Premier League will go today.
Liverpool travel to Man City (4pm) and it's in my mind that Brendan Rodgers' men have played well against better side. They've scored at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge and drew 2-2 at Arsenal in midweek.
However, can they breach a City defence that's conceded just nine goals in 12 home matches and have recorded four successive clean sheets. Vincent Kompany will be missing again but without the skipper they drew 0-0 at QPR in midweek, although Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge will provide a tougher test.
Liverpool on the other hand couldn't keep out a kitten and have let in 20 goals on the road. That worries me and I'm taking City, who are 10-11 at William Hill, to edge it.
Sergio Aguero is first-scorer favourite but I'm taking a chance on his fellow Argentine Pablo Zabaleta to 11-1 with bet365 to net at anytime.
He scored against Stoke in a 1-0 win last weekend and hit he woodwork against QPR. To net first as he did against Stoke he is 40-1 at Stan James.
Both teams to score is short at 8-13 considering only one of the last six meetings at City has seen both on target, with three 0-0 draws. but this has a chance with Suarez and Sturridge in the line-up.
Spurs have drawn three in a row but should get back to winnings ways against a West Brom (1.30pm) side with just two wins in 11. AVB's men are 6-5 with the likes of William Hill and Ladbrokes but as they're a bit short up front look at Gareth Bale, who hit a cracker at Norwich in midweek, at 9-4 with Ladbrokes and Stan James to score.

I see you have an international friendly week, never a good week for betting. Let your opponent take them for you can never predict the teams, results, when it comes to these games, have a dabble with the over/under market, is always a good way to go on these games, not sure of what ladbrokes offer though for i don’t bet with them, so will have to start seeing what markets they offer for football, for i know you can’t do any in play markets.

am not to keen on the internationals might be a good idea looking at overs for some of them Ive looked at ladbrokes website and I cant find a bet I like 2 Score In Both halves sometimes aswell they are mad with the btts looked a few times at games that should have odds for it and dont got a double for monday then not much till friday and saturday
Think on my week i have some champions league games. If you look for teams playing weaker teams, you can always get good over odds, for example a team playing San Marino, Faroe Islands etc…… Always a few if you look, but alot of them i have seen seem very close matches and others seem the type where your going to just get stop start second half with the subs.

Milesey, we disagree quite a lot on the football but you’re not always right. I can see Liverpool scoring but the key will be how they can defend. City’s makeshift defence kept a clean sheet at Loftus Road but Liverpool rarely do so. I can see it being 2-1 City because whatever you say about Saurez I’d rather have Aguero.

Milesey, I don’t like Suarez’s antics to be honest, don’t dispute his talent. I watch good honest football every weekend and don’t like some of the stuff Suarez gets involved in. Didn’t see the darts but Holland losing is a shock. I of course tipped Scotland to win the World Cup – we’re due one!
