IT'S another busy night of NBA action on Friday with the worst team in the league trying to snap their record losing streak.
The Brooklyn Nets have suffered 14 defeats in a row – and 16 straight at home where they've yet to taste victory in 2017 – and their latest shot at redemption comes at Denver Nuggets.
Brooklyn are 4-1 at Paddy Power for the win they crave while the Nuggets are 2-11 at Betfair for victory and 2-5 at Paddy Power to be leading at half-time and full-time.

With most of the big sprinters riding in the desert of Abu Dhabi I will take the number 2 of 2016 and 2015 to finally take his win in this race. Sagan is the other favourite, but I think he will be among the best at the race on Saturday. Kristoff can win from a small group or a bunch sprint and showed great form in Oman. I think he will be the fastest in both outcomes.

Bonifazio was 3rd yesterday and should finish close today. Guardini didn’t sprint and it looks like his team went for their other sprinter Consonni, who came in 4th. Whoever gets the nod, Bonifazio should be faster.
Renshaw v De Bie is about lead-outs. Both are the last man before the sprinter comes out. Renshaw is Cavendish leadout man for years and I think he will drop him off closer to the line than De Bie will do with Greipel.

Another cracking start to the wknd. Back on track with a couple of winners from this evening’s games.
Landers beaten and kept try-less which was surprising so couldn’t reach to the 20 point mark to down the double. Quick bet for the Reds game. Sharks more converted penalties 15/8. Hoping it’s a tight game. Risk is if the Reds get out to a lead or the Sharks get a few early tries. Small stakes for a bit of interest. Worth a punt though and will have a few in-play points total bets if the Reds fall behind. GL

Denver on b2b nights after their loss to the Cousinless Kings last night. At home to a Nets side who traded away Bogdanovic who was their second top points scorer during the first half of the season. Jeremy Lin is likely to return for Brooklyn but I can’t seem them beating Denver at home who have the altitude in their favour, plus the poor record for Brooklyn on the road.
OKC did some nice business before the deadline and acquired Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott from the Bulls. They have a pretty good starting five when you look at them with Westbrook, Oladipo, Gibson and Adams the main four. The Lakers did well for their future, but not really what they needed right now. Any team who picked up Lou Williams was going to get better, and he showcased his shooting for the Rockets last night in their win over the Pelicans. Williams averaged 18.6 points per game for LA off the bench, and he was their leading scorer. When you look at their side now its clear they lack experience and will likely struggle for the rest of the season, but the future looks bright.
