THE Premier League darts bandwagon rolls into Leeds tonight for week three of the new season and kicking off proceedings is an all-Scottish showdown.
Peter Wright sealed his third ranking title in the last fortnight with victory at the UK Open qualifiers on Sunday and will hope to continue that form against countryman Gary Anderson.
Wright is as big as 7-2 at 888sport for victory and 11-13 at 188be with a +2.5 leg handicap while Ando, unbeaten so far in the Premier League, is 4-6 at Coral and the draw pays 4-1 at bet365.

The highest checkout line set at 116.5 for Taylor vs Barney is very attainable in a match between two well accomplished finishers. Realistically throughout the course of the match both players will likely be leaving checkouts greater than this, typically 120, 121, 128, 132 of course anything upwards so I’m confident it will go. Taylor specifically has form in this seasons PL having already checked out a 121 and a 142 in weeks 1 & 2 respectively.
I’m backing Lewis to beat Wade tonight for a number of reasons. Firstly and most importantly he is throwing first so with a player of Lewis’ calibre, should he break Wade’s throw, he’d be in a great position to charge on to victory. Last week Lewis registered a checkout percentage of 54% and if he maintains that level of finishing combined with throwing first he should win. Lastly going back to last year’s PL in both weeks 4 & 11 Lewis defeated Wade 7-5 when he was throwing first and second so everything considered I think it will be Lewis taking the two points tonight.
