I'VE covered the Champions League elsewhere but I'm not including the games at Celtic or Valencia in my top tips.

They're just too tough to call especially when there are some stand-out picks in English football.

Yeovil featured on my treble and with Paddy Madden again on target notched a fine win at Coventry – their fifth league win on the spin.

I see no reason not to back them at home to a Preston sode who have lost five of their last six at and for anyone interested Madden is 6-5 at bet365 to score and 4-1 at Ladbrokes, bet365 and Coral to net first. Yeovil are a biggest 7-5 at William Hill.

Hartlepool were another team I sided with, tipping their draw at Swindon and taking both teams to score.

John Hughes's side are now just one point behind Portsmouth and will climb above their relegation rivals and off the foot with a win tonight. They won 3-1 at Portsmouth on January 26 and can repeat the result against a side on a run of eight defeats. Pool are 19-20 with Paddy Power and William Hill.

To complete the treble I'm on Leicester at home to Huddersfield in the FA Cup as long they don't miss top scorer Chris Wood too much and field a strong side.

Without Wood Leicester slumped to a shock league defeat at Peterborough so will be looking to bounce back against a side they beat 6-1 at home in the Championship.

Managerless Huddersfield held Cardiff 0-0 at home at the weekend but don't score enough so Leicester should edge and set up a home tie with Wigan.

Best bets in Scotland could be Stirling Albion who need a win at home to East Stirling to climb off the foot of Division Three. Stirling signed up experience in the transfer window and it showed as the beat Montrose at home on Saturday. They are 10-11 with Paddy Power and William Hill and there should be goals here.

Dunfermline (5-6, Coral) should edge the Fife derby at Cowdenbeath.

Yeovil v Preston HOME WIN……Yeovil are the form team in League 1 having won 7 from the last 9,scoring 17 times and conceding just 4 in these games. In the last 4 games they have chalked up impressive victories against Coventry(A),Brentford(H),MK Dons(H) and Sheffield Utd(A) . Preston on the otherhand have won just once in the last 10,drawing 4 and losing 5. They have only managed 6 goals in these 10 matches. This poor run of form has seen them sucked into a relegation battle and i can see them suffering more misery today against a free scoring Yeovil who dont seem to mind whether they are playing at home or on the road. I can see Yeovil winning this by a couple tonight.

Wycombe v Bradford HOME WIN….Wycombe have surprised many by there turn of fortunes and impressive form after what could only be described as a disastrous start too the season with only 3 wins in the first 17 league games but since then they have won 9 from 13. They now find themselves with a genuine shot at promotion. Bradford are a strange outfit in that they knocked both Arsenal and Villa out of the League Cup on route too the final but since they knocked Arsenal out they have been in freefall in the league winning just once in 8 games and that win was against lowly Accrington. Wycombe should win this with a bit too spare with M.McLure a decent shout for the 1st goal

Hartlepool v Portsmouth HOME WIN….5 or 6 weeks ago i couldnt see myself tipping Hartlepool for a victory but after the appointment of John Hughes their fortunes have changed for the better. They have won 3,drawn 2 and lost 2 from the last 7 but this isnt as bad as it look as they considering that after the first 23 games they had a record of W1 D6 L16. Their recent triumphs include a 3-2 away win at Sheffield United,2-1 v Notts County and 3-1away win against todays opponents Pompey which was only 3 weeks back. Pompey are a side under a huge dark cloud with their financial troubles which is reflecting on their perfomances on the park, losing 15 for the last 18 and drawing the other 3. Hartlepool should win this with a bit too spare against an awful Pompey outfit

Scunthorpe v Carlisle BTTS…. 6 of the last 7 Scunthorpe home games have seen this market come too fruition while Carlisle have only failed too score twice in 19 games. These 2 teams fought out a 1-1 draw just 3 weeks ago at Carlisle. Both teams have conceded 51 goals in 30 games and both average a goal a game at the other end. I can see there being goals at both ends tonight and over 2.5goals could be a possibility too

    DECENT PRICED TREBLE TONIGHT

CELTIC TO WIN 39/10..odds too big to ignore for a team that beat Barce, and with the home support anything is possible
YEOVIL TO WIN 5/4..incredible recent run and incredible home odds, surprised the bookies are offering this.
GILLINGHAM TO WIN 13/10..Won 10 from 14 away this season losing only once, cant see York,a team that hasnt won in 6 and conceding 8 in last 2 beating them.
    £10 stake returns £253.57
For those worried about Celtic id replace them with Bournemouth who have won last 4 and lost just 1 in the lg in last 19 games, they play away to Crewe a team they beat 3-1 in the reverse less than 3 weeks ago, odds 23/20
placed with yeovil and gillingham TREBLE, £10 stake returns £111.26.

I think Celtic games has 1-1 written all over it. Defo think a tight low scoring affair. I’m a Rangers fan but hope Celtic do well tonight (not too well tho! Lol). Just canny see them winning but then again said the same about Barca. Just think Juve will settle for a draw and defensively they may be stronger than Barca. Dont think this game will be a great spectacle unless you’re a hoops fan but i’ll probably watch anyway.

  25. Darren G 11 years ago

Re Yeovil, they are 8/11 on the hills coupon which was printed pre games on Monday – they are 11/10 online and 6/5 with pp
    Coupon price maybe a mistake

Tbl for me Yeovil Wycombe hull

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Darren, I picked up 7-5 from an odds comparison site early this morning. I’ve just checked Racing Post and they also have Yeovil at 7-5 with William Hill and 6-5 with Paddy and others but they’re not tipping them. Either 7-5 was a mistake or it was cut. I’m not working at the Record this week but I’ll email them on Friday and see if they can give me the price history.

    • Darren G 11 years ago

No worries Paul, normally prices are cut from the coupon price.
      8/11 such a difference from 7/5

Would be interesting to know the history

      Cheers

  26. Mr H 11 years ago

Well after changing my mind all day I’ve decided too plump for £20 on Yeovil,Wycombe,Hartlepool and Brentford which returns £367.13 . I’ve also chucked £5 at Yeovil(5/1) to win both halves,Wycombe -1(9/2) and Hartlepool -1(21/10) which returns £511.50

Good Luck to everyone with their lines tonight and i hope theres a few large returns allround

    • Mr H 11 years ago

Forster,Lustig,Izaguire,Wilson,Ambrose,Wanyama,Browm,Forrest,Commons,Mulgrew and Hooper is the team so im led to believe from the official site

Mulgrew in Midfield? sacrificing a natural midfielder too accomodate him is wrong. If Mulgrew doesnt play centre half then he shouldnt be in the team at all cause hes never a midfielder and never a left back

  27. Kenny B 11 years ago

    Gillingham,
    Wycombe,

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, it’s one for me. As I’ve said before I’d rather go with form than try to be speculative. Izaguirre will score one day at a big price but I’d be surprised if it was tonight. Even at 160-1 I’m not tempted.

Willie, I’ve left Brentford out mainly because of Milesey but as I said earlier the Racing Post have gone big on them. I don’t if Milesey speaking from the head or the heart but I do think Stevenage are a big price even though I won’t be getting involved. 35. mickyd 11 years ago

Bet against Preston at your peril, manager westleys got the firing squad at his door and is desperate for any sort of result , i can see a backs to the wall bore draw which will suit him just fine .As a PNE season ticket holder its grim times for my once proud club .

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Mickyd, I’m no really betting against Preston, more for Yeovil. They’ve been good to me over the past couple of weeks and I fancy them tonight. How come you think Westley will get a result when he hasn’t been able to do it the past few weeks.

    • mickyd 11 years ago

Westley is going with the intention of shutting up shop ,hoping to hit Yeovil on the break , i agree Yeovils form of late is very impressive but whenever ive written Preston off in the past guaranteed theres an upset.
Keep up the good tips Paul

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Mickyd, sometimes fans have a better idea of what their team is going to do. Westley will need to stop the boy Madden and if he does Preston might have a chance.

  36. Guido 11 years ago

Gonna go for 3 tonite doubles n treble..Mr F’s Stirling Albion 10/11, Celtic/Juve draw 12/5 (Juve masters of getting a result)and Yeovil 11/10 (hope this in not another Watford/Liverpool f*** waiting to happen up but nice odds/in form).

  61. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Numerous free kicks Celtic not awarded and a half decent penalty claim. Deliberate elbow into neck of commons. Even the commentator saying so unless your watching the game muted. Even now as I type didn’t play advantage

  62. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Ok all in my imagination. Hooper getting wrestled in the box and the red enjoying watching it.

  63. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Darren G Celtic by far the better team, no question. Anyone that says otherwise is plain stupid.

    • Darren G 11 years ago

The better team after, literally a few minutes, bases on what ?? A 30 yarder
Juve just toyed with an average side and 3 nil grossly flatters sellick

Surprised you seen much of the game based on number of comments.

Another several hundred down tonight. Unlucky. Wanyama was due a goal to.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Darren, some of the comments tonight have been inflammatory and it’s not called for on this site. Celtic made mistakes, were a bit unlucky in front of goal but in the end lost to a better team. That’s it, don’t need to bring Old Firm bickering into it.

  64. alex walker 11 years ago

Juventus will score again in this game if they keep playin sq at the back!

  65. alex walker 11 years ago

Ment to say if celtic play square at the back! Chris the ref is havin a good game apart from when celtic get corners! But we all know what italians are like at corner kicks. Been doing that for yrs and yrs.

Stevie H, not a lot of goals about so far, hopefully there will be action in the second 45.

  67. Stevie H 11 years ago

Rotherham is my dodgy one and fully expect Leicester to win leaving just 1 wee simple goal for Brighton, not asking for me am I hahaha

  68. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Referee still not biased no? Commentators can believe what’s going on, saying the referee is an absolute disgrace. Hands all over Scott Brown. Shocking.

  69. Bryan 11 years ago

The commentary is Alan Brazil who is even more biased than you Chris. lol

  70. alex walker 11 years ago

Like i said before. The talys been doing it for yrs. Game over.

  71. Danny 11 years ago

    better luck next time Celtic

  72. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Come on your having a laugh right?

  73. Striker 11 years ago

Get in Yeovil! Took then in play at 9/2, hope they hold on

  74. Danny 11 years ago

I said it earlier not the group stage were theres 6 games last 16 2 games class comes out on top over luck…most of the time, Juventus arnt cheating Im watching the game and couldnt give a monkeys who wins it if a foul is commited then its a freekick granted celtic have been denied a few but that hasent been the cause of Juventus 2 goals

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

Your bang on danny about the gulf in class and the last 16 is where it shows over 2 legs or usually does, celtic did well getting as far as they did in the group they were in and beating Barcelona is a thing that doesn’t come along very often so they should take heart from that, but the last 16 looked like that was as far as they were going to go especially against the Italians.

It’s a pity the 1st leg was at parkhead as well always prefer the last leg at home when you know what u need to do looks like it’s game over now.

  75. John Henderson 11 years ago

Ref a joke never seen the likes british ref and at least 3 penalties against juve.

  76. alex walker 11 years ago

Danny thats not fare! This juventus side are a better orginised side than barca! But celtic have giving them 2 of there goals!

  77. Danny 11 years ago

thats the difference in class Alex Juventus centre hofs arnt going too gift 1 goal left alone 2

  78. alex walker 11 years ago

Your rite danny they are a solid unit from back to front!

  79. Lamby 11 years ago

    Had two accas for tonight.

    Hull
    Doncaster
    Bournemouth
    Brentford

    and

    Hartlepool
    Yeovil
    Bournemouth
    Scunthorpe.

Two 0-0 draws done me. Gutted.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Lamby – 0-0’s probably the most frustrating way to lose bets

  80. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Ok but the ref didn’t help. Even the commentator said that he feared the ref before a ball was even kicked because he apparently “completely ruled a World Cup game” think it was Brazil vs Germany he said. Litchsteiner should have been sent off too.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, ref should have clamped down on the nonsense at corners earlier. I thought he was poor but as a neutral I don’t think he was biased. Both sets of players were at it for the corners and at the end of the day two Ambrose mistakes were really the difference.

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

Mr F i never seen the game but by all accounts there was lots of shenanigans going on especially at set pieces corners etc etc.

What can be done when everyone is at it ? especially at corners nowadays, if you sent off every one that had a hold of someone or hands on someone there would be barely 5 a side left if that.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

1plus2, the ref should have sent off Hooper and the Swiss guy. That would have ended it. Both sides were at it although Juve probably just do it a better and go down a bit easier.

  81. Muzza 11 years ago

Looks like Hartlepool was the stitch up team tonight for many bets. They must be pants if they can’t beat Pompey

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Muzza, Hartlepool beat them 3-1 away a couple of weeks ago and have looked better although most of their good results have come away.

    • Muzza 11 years ago

I know it’s crazy. Pompey only had a 15 man squad with 3 kids on the bench too.

So much for the draws in CL !?

As another neutral I thought the ref should have stamped his authority early doors and given Celtic a penalty for all the pushing & shoving but Juve were still the better team as the score line suggests….

  82. Tommo 11 years ago

I notice my comment has been deleted, was that “inflammatory”

So it is ok for regular guys to speak of Hooper in high regard and i ask a basic stat question of this player…

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Tommo, yes it was inflammatory and sarcastic. I’m trying to stop this developing into an Old Firm fight as it has in the past. You didn’t ask a sensible question and you know it.

    • Tommo 11 years ago

And Alex did i actually say you?

  83. Chris Guy 11 years ago

    Paul and others. You think its all in my imagination. Here are statements from the Daily Records live blog;

Shout for a penalty as Celtic respond immediately! That looked like a blatant elbow on Commons, who is felled in the box, but the ref waves away the appeals.

There will be trouble between Lichsteiner and Hooper before this match is out. The Swiss is wrestling the Celtic striker every time the Parkhead side have a corner or set piece. The referee is letting it slide at the minute. That’s all well and good until somebody loses an eye.

Celtic are reallt pushing Juve high up the park. The Italians are clearly looking to play on the counter – and kick Gary Hooper at every given opportunity. The referee is going to have to get a grip here. Booking for Hooper coming up – wait and see…

Celtic continuing to threaten and pressure. Lustig wins a corner… there’s a goal in this game for Celtic… But this is ridiculous – Hooper and Lichsteiner in the book because Lichsteiner pushed and grappled Hooper! This Swiss continues to do the same thing the second play resumes – the referee will have to take action here! The fouling is blatant!

“This referee is certainly not a homer” – Alan Brazil stating the obvious there.

Even Michael Owen is having his say on the match official tonight: @themichaelowen?

“I’m hating this nonsense on corners. The Italians are renown for it. Until Refs pluck up the courage to give a pen it won’t change.”

Even boxing champ’ Tony ‘Bomber’ Bellew is shocked:

    @TonyBellew?

“Watching the Celtic V Juve game and I’ve never seen defenders literally man handle players and get away with it like the Italians do! Proper”

    Proper indeed Tony.

That looked like a foul on Izaguirre on the edge of the area – but no – the referee waves away the appeals. strange move – particularly when there was no card forthcoming for Izaguirre.

Celtic’s pace has dipped and it might be time for a change. Juve are bringing on a sub – and wasting as much time as possible. The referee doing the home side no favours – Padoin on for Peloso. And Juve are at it again in the box, Lichsteiner grapples and then powerslams Brown before rolling around on the ground, claiming he had been stood on. Ridiculous.

Crazy. Once again Brown is wrestled in the box as the corner comes in. It’s Lichsteiner again and again – the referee has a clear view, it’s right in front of him! No foul though as Juve clear again.

Celtic threatening after the change. They had looked tired in the build-up to it. Referee sticking with that ridiculous tactic of booking two players when a Juve star fouls a man. This time Brown is wrestled by Padoin – and both get cards. Play resumes, Padoin manhandles him again – as the referee watches and does nothing. The match official has been terrible tonight – a heady blend of cowardice and incompetence.

    Paranoid????

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Bruce, I’m deleting the comment because it’s so stupid. Post it elsewhere if you want.

    • Dave 11 years ago

Mr F i know its late or early depending on how you look at it, but man u are 3/1 on a draw no bet for madrid i think thats a cracking bet! what do the rest of the gang think? Muzza? Guido? Milsey? anyone really?

    • Guido 11 years ago

Personally I’d got for RM at home virtually every time Dave tbh…they are traditionally very very strong at home and European record is fantastic in Spain. Form is a bit patchy at times especially away. I’d have to favour RM to win first leg..3-1 maybe? Think MU may score tho. Don’t let me put u off ur opinion is as worthy as anyones but I dont see MU winning where so many have failed. Score draw wid be their best hope for me. I cood see RM with the pace of Ronaldo picking them off in the second leg as well for a score draw to see them thru comfortably? But its a funny old game as they say!!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Dave, the first four ties were hard to call really. The early Juve goal changed everything tonight and PSG must have started really well in Valencia. I’m thinking draw in Madrid but a spark of genius from the likes of Ronaldo or van Persie can change everything. After what happened tonight I’m siding with Dortmund away to Shakhtar.

  84. alex walker 11 years ago

Chris you have went on and on about the ref all nite. When was the last ref you saw give a pen for pushin and pullin in the box! And as for these jokers who stand behind the goals they are a bigger joke! The italians are masters at dirty tricks in the box at corners!

    • Guido 11 years ago

No really want to get inta the Celtic/Juve debate but Alex is spot on when he says about the Italians being masters at the tricks etc..its drummed into them. 4 times winners of the World Cup says it all..they know how to win n maybe more importantly how not to lose better than anyone.

  85. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Darren G, Celtic were by far the better team for the first 45 mins so don’t kid yourself. Celtic should have been at least level. I’m still up £700 over the past 3 days. Won £900 on Sunday and lost £200 today.

  86. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Give an early penalty. That will soon put an end to it

  87. Danny 11 years ago

Daily Record Scotlands Newspaper with a live blog on Scotlands Top Team in the last 16 there not biased in the slightest are they if I were a Celtic fan id be gutted about not having a reason to go to Turin for a session but thats just how football goes sometimes there still going to win the league and have another crack in the champions league in 6 months time on the other hand they scored 3 in Moscow and Juventus will play a weaken and hope for 2 early goals

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Danny, of course the Record are biased. They’re a Scottish newspaper supporting a Scottish team whether it’s Celtic, Rangers, Hearts or Hibs. Success for Scottish teams puts on sales but not in Turin.

  88. alex walker 11 years ago

Hey tommo. Av only said what i watched on the telly! Its called a opinion! Not crap!

  89. alex walker 11 years ago

Ok chris you have wrote all that what people have said. But you never answered my question. When was the last time you saw a ref give a pen or red card for pushin and pullin in the box?

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Alex, I’ll answer that – very rarely do they give them and we all know it so I don’t why such a big issue is being made of this.

  90. Tommo 11 years ago

I actually thought after the booking of Hooper and the Swiss guy the referee would have gave a penalty at some point, just another example of inconsistency with referees!

Spaniard? Not that great a record in La Liga? Anyone know if that is the case re the referee??

  91. alex walker 11 years ago

The big issue mr f is he is basically sayin that the ref has cost celtic the game! Thats the issue! When his team were beatin by a very very good team!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Alex, if that’s the way he feels that’s the way he feels. We’re all biased towards our own team. I can see why Celtic fans night feel hard done by but Juve were better and cleverer.

  92. Stevie H 11 years ago

2/5 shot Leicester done me…GUTTED! That famous 1 team letting me down yet again!!

  93. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Paul just looking at done of the early prices for weekend and think I’ve found a cracker. Chelsea vs Brentford in the FA cup. Ba to score anytime 8/11 @ Coral. He is as short as 1/3 elsewhere.

    • Muzza 11 years ago

IT IS TUESDAY! He might twist an ankle or break a nail before the weekend and not even play???

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Muzza, that’s true but if you back him and he doesn’t play you get your money back.

    • Muzza 11 years ago

And how is 8/11 a cracking price for that matter? It is Demba Ba not Messi???

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, it’s a big difference but I hate backing anytime scorers at under evens. If I was having a bet I’d be on Lampard.

  94. Striker 11 years ago

    Good super single Mr Fixit!
Especially in-play when they were 0-1 down :)

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Striker, fancied Yeovil strongly and John will be happy to see Madden scored again.

  95. alex walker 11 years ago

Can anyone find me a price that no british team is in the last 8 of CL. Sorry to say this but 1 down 2 to go!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Alex, forget Celtic. That price is now a double on Arsenal and Man Utd not to qualify. You’ll get that with any bookie.

  96. Chris Guy 11 years ago

    Good price Muzza

  97. 1plus2 11 years ago

Bet Victor are doing total English teams to qualify

    0………… 5/4

    1………… 1/1

    2………… 13/2

  98. Danny 11 years ago

Paul could give the goalscorers a wee go on Thursday nyt europa league games alsorts a players to hit the net anytime pending team news

    4fold paying around 11/1
    Hulk
    Cavani
    Falcao
    Kiessling

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Danny, team news is crucial for Europa League. I’m not sure Falcao’s played in any of the games although he might need a workout for match fitness after his injury spell. Napoli won’t be keen to risk Cavani either.

  99. Lamby 11 years ago

@Guido Absoutely. Especially when you have two accumulators let you down by the same scoreline. Liverpool let me down yesterday so not been a good few days. Onwards and upwards. In it to win it! Night all.

  100. Guido 11 years ago

Shakhtar were a team that impressed me in the league stage..i thot thwy were really live outsider..Willian a superb player …but the bugger has upped sticks and joined Anzhi…money grabber. Dortmund shood KO them on the back of the wee fella leaving…shame nice team.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, Willian’s a big loss and I’m surprised they sold him. But I suppose they found it hard to turn down £30m.

    • Guido 11 years ago

That’s why they poached u for the DR Paul…hard to resist the major league bucks! :-)

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, I was poached from the Clydebank Post. It didn’t cost them much.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Bit like when Jack Steadman signed Davie Cooper for the Bankies Paul…£300 grubby notes in a broon bag from the weekend takings at the social club wiz it??

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, that was the story. Emptied the takings and handed it to Cooper. One of the best things S******n did before selling our ground and leaving the club in a mess.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Davie enjoyed a wee go on the nags as well Paul…wonder if he’d been a match for Milesey? Great player. is Mr S&&&&&&n still kicking aboot?

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, I think so but woudn’t be welcome at the Bankies unless he was dipping into his deep pockets and buying us a ground.

  101. Dave 11 years ago

I think both champs league games will be btts tommorw. Guido I hear what your saying about rm but being a utd fan and optimistic, I reckon the way to beat Madrid is to counter attack them n I reckon utd will pack the midfield with jones probed going man for man on roni. I just think with a bit if inside roni knowledge they may just be able to do a job on him. I always go for rm at home tbh but think its good draw no bet

    • Guido 11 years ago

Dave, sounds good enuff reasoning to me and 3/1 is attractive…go with you gut Dave..yull kick urself if not if it comes in listening to a twat like me :-)

  102. Guido 11 years ago

Liked sum of Davie’s comments like how Bobby Russell was “built like an xray” and how Tam Forsyth couldn’t differentiate between a practise match and real match and played like his life depended on it chasing him around the training ground for the first few years at Ibrox kicking lumps oota him “as tho I wiz wearing a Celtic strip” :-)

  103. cheeky number 11 years ago

mr fixit, as a united fan and trying not to side with the team i support, i honestly cant see united losing in madrid, iv seen them several times and watched every game this season and iv got the 1998/1999 season feeling all over again.

breaking it down, valencia if he starts will stop marcelo bombing down the wing, which on the counter attack while marcelo is up the other end valencia will be pinging balls in for fun

jones in midfield, everyone talks about man marking cr7, u cant he’s that good, jones will pick the ball up and drive foward, ronaldo will be stopped with a solid defence and no dodgy tackling

up front rooney and rvp, nuff said, they’ll need to be on top form and the game is uniteds

managers? well lets just say fergie the master started weeks ago and i think he’s got the special 1 right were he wants him

all the best for the bets tomorrow i know who im backing

    • cheeky number 11 years ago

p.s the reason i put these four points in was they are the important one’s to look at, not disregarding the rest of the madrid team

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Cheeky number, I’m thinking draw but if I had to pick a winner it would be Real. Incredibly strong at home while United I see have won two out of 20 in Spain. Real’s sole focus is on winning the Champions League while United have a title to go for. It’s a tough call though and as Ferguson says it’s got the feel of a final.

  104. Bryan 11 years ago

    Chris,

Juve had a gameplan and it worked. They soaked up the pressure and hit Celtic on the counter attack.

Although they allowed you possession I don’t remember Buffon having a real save to make. Your best chance was probably the Ambrose header which failed to trouble the keeper.

As for the ref, grappling always happens at corners but you could probably count on one hand the amount of times a penalty has been given. It very rarely, if ever, happens. That’s just football, it’s not the ref being biased against Celtic ffs. lol
