RB Leipzig vs PSV (Tuesday, 20:00)
An end-to-end encounter could be in the offing when RB Leipzig and PSV lock horns in the Champions League at the Red Bull Arena on Tuesday night.
Leipzig will be looking to get off the mark at the second attempt after suffering a 4-1 defeat away to Como on matchday one.
However, Martin Demichelis’ men can take confidence from winning all three of their Bundesliga home games this season, including a 6-0 thrashing of Frankfurt at the weekend.
The hosts may struggle to keep out PSV, though, with the visitors having scored 26 goals across their opening eight Eredivisie matches.
What’s more, the Dutch heavyweights have scored and conceded in each of their four league games away from home this season.
They also drew 1-1 with Shakhtar Donetsk in their Champions League opener, so all the signs point towards both teams scoring in Saxony.
Feyenoord vs Como (Wednesday, 17:45)
Another Dutch side on the radar for both teams to score this week is Feyenoord, who host Como on Wednesday evening.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men could hardly have asked for a tougher start to their Champions League campaign, suffering a 5-1 defeat away to Barcelona.
That setback has not dented confidence, though, with the Rotterdam giants top of the Eredivisie after an unbeaten start and four consecutive wins.
However, Feyenoord have conceded in home games against both ADO Den Haag and Go Ahead Eagles this season, which could give Como encouragement.
Cesc Fabregas’ side made an emphatic start to their Champions League campaign with a 4-1 demolition of Leipzig.
Notably, both teams have scored in three of Como’s four Serie A away games this season, further strengthening the case for goals at De Kuip.
Bodo/Glimt vs Borussia Dortmund (Wednesday, 20:00)
Goals are usually on the menu when Bodo/Glimt are involved, and that should be the case when they face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Kjetil Knutsen’s side have long had a reputation as one of the most high-octane teams to follow in Europe, and this season is proving no different.
Indeed, Bodo have seen both teams score in each of their last five domestic games, underlining their attacking threat and defensive vulnerability.
The hosts have already had five goals put past them by Bayern Munich in the Champions League this season and now face another German giant.
However, Dortmund have shown they can be vulnerable too, conceding twice in their 3-2 Champions League win over Villarreal.
With all that in mind, goals should flow in this Arctic Circle showdown.
