It's bank holiday Monday in England and as often is the case, the lower Leagues take centre stage with action from the National League and National League North and South, as well as the leagues below them.

They are great leagues for goals and having looked through todays card, there are plenty of matches that stand out, picking the right ones is the hard part.

There are also matches from the Scottish Reserve League although markets are limited – keep an eye on out for team news updates and available markets.

****(St Johnstone vs QoS KO 2pm- Very strong saints starting 11  – go for goals Bet365)***

Darlington vs Bradford PA (KO 3pm)

Its going to be a long hard Season for Bradford Park Avenue – we are only 6 games into the season and they have just 2 points to show for tier efforts and have conceded a ridiculous 18 goals already.

They've already been on the receiving end of a 4-0 and 5-0 hammerings on the road and I don't see that changing against a Darlo side who have claimed 7 of their 8 points this season at home (2 wins and a draw)

Darlington Strikers Adam Campbell and Steven Thompson have 5 goals between them already this season and will fancy of adding to that against the leakiest defence in the league.

Quite a few betting angles to look at here –  over 2.5 goals too sort to back so a Darlington win and over 2.5 goals, Darlington HT/FT or over 3.0 goals on Asian handicap all pay evens or above.

Fully expect Darlington to win  this convincingly

Recommended Bets:

  • Darlington to win and over 2.5 goals
  • 21/20 (Boyle Sports) (NAP)
  • Over 3.0 goals Asian handicap
  • 1/1 (Bet365)

National League goals  specials

Been on average 31-32 goals each week in this league and looking at todays matches its worth taking on the goal total market with Skybet, landed this last midweek and going for it again.

There also the first half goals and over 1.5 goals that are worth some loose change at huge odds

  • 33+ goals scored
  • 11/8 (Skybet)

      GRM,
I follow non-league closely as my 2 teams are unfortunately in the lower leagues, Stockport & Altrincham.
I’ve picked a few out for you
      2+ Team goals
      Stockport, boreham wood(national league)
      Altrincham York (national north)
      Trebles &4 fold
      4 fold around 16/1
      1pt each

      A bit more adventurous
      Sutton, Halifax, Woking, Wrexham
      Trebles & 4 fold
      4 fold pays 78/1
      0.5pt each

      All Bet365 total 7.5 PST

      Good luck

When are Darlington going to start getting all these goals? Is it today or over
the course of the next month???

Have I missed something, MB? The first of your bets landed 1 of 4, so all lost. The second you got 3 of 4, so a treble at something like 26/1.

That sounds like 7.5 points staked and around 14 returned = 6.5 points profit. Not to be sneezed at, but not a 20 point profit.
