BIG SAM'S unbeaten start at Everton came to a shuddering halt on Saturday but his men can bounce back to form tonight.

Man United are the visitors in a New Year's Day telly treat and you wouldn't want to be on them at under evens.

Jose Mourinho's being made to suffer by Man City's dominance and three successive draws have left them 15 points off the pace and struggling to hold on to a top-four spot.

United were toothless as they were held 0-0 by Southampton and Romelu Lukaku's injury only adds to their woes.

Allardyce could be boosted by the return of Wayne Rooney and Everton look massive at 9-2 with Paddy Power to beat a side without a win in four when you include a cup defeat to Bristol City.

At those odds you can keep the stalemate on side and back the Toffees draw no bet at 3-1 with McBookie or the Toffees not to lose at 15-13 with Unibet.

Mourinho could be doing with Rooney's 12 goals and the man he released is 15-2 at William Hill to score first and 7-2 at Unibet to net at any time.

If you fancy United to turn it around they are a best 7-9 at 188BET.

Games are coming thick and fast so check team news before betting if possible as there will be plenty of rotation.

That's especially important when it comes to Liverpool who have a doubt over Saturday's two-goal hero Mo Salah at Burnley.

Salah has been sensational but without him the Anfield men look short at 4-7 with Stan James and I'd rather be on both to score at evens with Betfred.

Leicester played well in losing to Liverpool and tempt at 7-10 at 188BET and Bournemouth should avoid defeat at Brighton at 3-5 with bet365.

The other Premier League game sees Stoke entertain Newcastle and if it's as nervy as Newcastle v Brighton at the weekend it could end scoreless. A draw pays 12-5 at McBookie.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO MR F AND ALL WHO FOLLOW.

happy new year everyone, too pissed to say anything meaningful, so i’ll keep it simple. I did a gig tonight in a role reversal. I was the roadie, not the dj tonight. had a great night, got rebooked for next year, now i’m hungry and need sleep.

Derby to beat Sheff utd @ 5/4 with betfair. Its the Derby form that’s making this easier and not the wobbly pop talking.

I probably won’t be awake to see the team sheet, but with 5 changes from the side that had the bore draw against Hull, then saw Ipswich off. Derby seem to be firing almost on all cylinders with just Bristol and Reading beating us since September. the only way we’ll catch Wolves is if they drop points. Bristol and Wolves both have had a spanner thrown in the works with a red card apiece last time out, so be cautious. Sheff Utd, not quite the side they were come the season start.

Happy new year all – as ever, big thanks to Mr F for running a fantastic site and to all the regular contributors for sharing their knowledge and keeping us all in profit!

Despite possible line up changes I still see goals in the Liverpool game and think this price is too big:

    Burnley v Liverpool – Both Teams To Score And Over/Under 2 5 @ 7/5 (**)

Can’t see this one going overs not with Coutihno and Salah out

    • liamw 6 years ago

Mmmm well considering your excellent record on ‘Pool games Mac I might reconsider this one in that case. Thanks.

    • maccathered 6 years ago

I’m not knocking your tip but klopp is set to rotate big time for this game with what i have read,Coutihno didn’t train with the team so it is thought he is out for this game,i don’t even know hat to call in this game and in my humble opinion its one best left alone.

I am on bookings in the Brighton v Bournemouth game.
    Booking before 32 min. 5/6 bet365

20 + booking points each team. 9/4 skybet.

No joy with my early booking . Loser.

    • joebones40 6 years ago

Was hardly a tackle in the game.

    • cockerspaniel 6 years ago

Yeah Joe. 3 late bookings still leave me one short on both bets. All bets down.

Happy New Year everyone a 6/4 double for me today which should land all being well.
    Curzton v Bradford P A
    Over 2.5mgs

    Hemel v St. Albans btts
He meld last 2 have seen btts while all of St. Albans last 5 have landed.
In the last 5 h2hs beteeen these to sides btts has obliged in fact amazingly they’ve all ended up 2-2.

No luck here, Everton were pants – which pleases me as United desperately needed the win.

Almost forgot to say, Happy New Year everyone. Hope everyone had a good un. I’m pretty hungover, glad I’ve got w few more days off to recover.

This has lost – loads of shots on target from both teams in Wales, but only 1 goal landed.

  14. superjim 6 years ago

I won an 80-1 today. Only a quid stake though. What is everyone’s biggest odds win?

    • Mr Fixit 6 years ago

I reckon my biggest was about 3400-1 but only has 50p on it.

    • superjim 6 years ago

      Wow Mr F!

    • Mr Fixit 6 years ago

It was in the days when we chucked 50p or £1 at the sections list. Made the mistake of telling my old man who made me pay back debts to him.

    • alex_mufc83 6 years ago

Around 100/1 I think, with small stakes

    • Mr Fixit 6 years ago

Over the years I’ve had loads of big wins – five draws, four win & btts, first scorer Yankees, that sort of thing, but I wouldn’t put them up as tips because they’re all speculative.
But maybe we should have a long shot thread – see if anyone can land a big one.

    • cockerspaniel 6 years ago

I have had 4 numbers up a few times on the Irish lottery with bet365. 8500/1 .
20 pence stakes don`t know if that counts .

    19:45 – Bromley v Ebbsfleet

Had this pick in the treble, but taking it as a single as the game in Wales was a let down.

Could well see goals this. 9th v 10th. Last 2 h2h have seen Ebbsfleet winning 2-1 in both games.
Bromley have a fairly decent scoring record at home, scoring in 8 out of thru last 10 home games, whilst not being shy of scoring away either. Ebbsfleet have scored in their last 6 games on the trot, the most recent 4 all seeing BTTS.

cracking game this so far – better than any of the last few prem league games, end to end stuff. Bromley 2-0 on 27 mins

    • alex_mufc83 6 years ago

      3-1 on 39 mins :)

  19. alex_mufc83 6 years ago

Think there’s 2 more goals in this, the wind is making it a nightmare for the keepers. Ebbsfleet just got another back, now 3-2 at 60 mins. Risking some profit, 1 POINT only.
