Desmond’s Two 2s Goals Tips: Bank on Scottish Cup double

THERE has been a lot of discussion about this weekend's Scottish Cup ties and that's where my 2+ goals double comes from.

Shocks are few and far between in the Scottish Cup and l fully understand Greg and Mr F's thinking.

I'm starting with Dundee United away to Montrose. The Championship side should progress and I'm happy to take Ladbrokes' 4-6 on them scoring 2+ goals against a part-time side losing 2 goals at home to East Fife last Saturday.

A well-refreshed Motherwell side take on Championship leaders Ross County at Fir Park boosted bu the signing of much-travelled striker Ross McCormack who returns to his first club and is line for a start.

Motherwell have scored 2 goals or more in their last 5 home games against County and after their 4-0 loss away to Queen of the South last Saturday I'm sure promotion gets higher priority than a cup run for the Highlanders. Ladbrokes offer a very decent 23-20 on the Steelmen to score 2+ goals to make a 5-2 double.
