WHEN looking at today's European card I didn't mean to pick a French treble – it just happened that way.
The first team to catch my at a decent price were Rennes who are out to continue their magnificent form at home to Montpellier.
The Brittany side are on a nine-match unbeaten run (seven wins and two draws) – and have beaten the likes of Monaco and Marseille recently. They've kept clean sheets in six of their last eight league matches and France U-21 winger Paul-Georges Ntep Madiba is regarded as their dangerman with 10 goals this season.
Rennes are 11-10 at Betfred to beat a mediocre Montpellier at home today and Ntep is 11-2 at McBookie to score first.
PSG were held at Lille in midweek but with Zlatan Ibrahimovic back should see off Nantes at home today. The champions are 2-7 with various firms to win while the Swedish superstar is 5-2 at William Hill to break the deadlock.
St Etienne smashed derby rivals Lyon 3-0 last week then dumped Montpellier 2-0 on Wednesday evening to end a run of six consecutive draws. Basement boys Bastia's only win in six was against Montpellier and haven't shown much improvement since sacking Claude Makelele last month. St Etienne look a good bet at 1-2 with Betfred.
Euro Treble
PSG (4pm)
Rennes (7pm)
St Etienne (7pm)
(4-1, Betfred)
I was drawn to the headline Mr F’s french fancies, was hoping for some links to ‘video clips’ of some french ladies but i see its just more football chat, ahh well never mind.
Sean, if no tips come up today I’ll maybe branch out. And for anyone else who wants to comment – the narrow Fulham defeat line is obviously a joke. Anything more than 4-0 is a heavy loss.
I was hoping for a link to mr kiplings website.
Is it me or does everyone eat the red and yellow ones 1st, leaving the choccy ones until last.
Thats just pure filth jasper, absolutely disgusting talk and im not getting involved in talk of that nature about cakes assortments.
Sacre bleu.
Kaiserslautern v Aue (Bundesliga 2) midday.
Over 2.5 mg 8/11 & Kaiserslautern win & BTTS 23/10- smaller bet.
Any idea behind Basel’s odds tomorrow?
SEAN….Basel have a must win midweek game against Liverpool. IMHO that explains the odds coz bookies expect a weakened side for today.
Basel was the super single yesterday!
