THERE'S nothing at stake in Group C tonight – except pride and prize money.
It's £1million for a win and while it's loose change to Man City the money won't go to waste for visitors Celtic.
City are through as Group C runners-up and Celtic are out so in normally we'd be looking at two reserve sides, especially as Celtic visit Partick Thistle on Friday.
City are 4-11 at sportingbet to win but Pep Guardiola has confirmed he'll be fielding a weakened team.
There could though be a start for Sergio Aguero who will have a four-game rest until December 31 after his weekend red card. If Aguero is given the nod he's the obvious first-scorer choice at 5-2 with McBookie.
Moussa Dembele netted two in the 3-3 draw against City at Parkhead and is 9-1 with McBookie to break the deadlock but has one goal (a penalty) in five games.
With nothing at stake both teams can play without fear. They went toe to toe in the first meeting and there should be goals again.
The other Group C game is also meaningless with Barcelona entertaining Borussia M'gladbach. If both play reserves Barce should win and are 2-5 with the likes of McBookie to do so.
Borussia are winless in seven and their focus is likely to be getting back on track in the Bundesliga before launching a Europa League campaign. Again teams need to be seen before having a serious bet on this one but with the Germans being thumped 4-1 at Dortmund at the weekend Barca -1 at evens with Stan James could be the call.
Arsenal and PSG are through from Group A but top spot remains up for grabs and the Gunners need to better PSG'S result to claim it having lost the head to head on goals scored.
Arsene Wenger takes his side to Basel who must beat Ludogerets' results in Paris to take a Europa League spot.
The Gunners are certain to be weakened and will temopt at 11-9 with Unibet although I won't bet on this one without seeing line-ups.
A PSG win against Ludogerets will give them top spot and the French champions are no bigger than 17-100 at Marathonbet.
PSG will be looking to put on a show after Sunday's shock 3-0 defeat at Montpellier and having won 3-1 in Bulgaria they can be taken -1 at 1-2 with betfair. Edinson Cavani is 9-4 at bet365 to score first.
Group B is much more interesting with any two from Napoli, Benfica and Besiktas going through. Napoli are in pole position as they need a draw in Portugal to finish above Benfica having won 4-2 in Italy.
A draw only does for Benfica if Besiktas don't win away to Dynamo Kiev. The Turks will qualify with a win no matter what happens in Lisbon and are 36-25 at Marathonbet to get it.
Group D is again less than exciting with Atletico Madrid heading to Bayern Munich as group winners but PSV can pip Rostov to a Europa League spot with a win in Holland.
Bets to Consider
Man City v Celtic over 3,5 goals
Cavani to score first
Rostov not to lose
