THERE'S no doubt about the biggest game of the day as title rivals Chelsea and Liverpool clash head on at Stamford Bridge (4pm).

Jose Mourinho turned his side into boring Chelsea to draw 0-0 at Arsenal and on Boxing Day they edged past Swansea 1-0 although should have scored more.

Liverpool don't do boring – how could you with Luis Suarez in the line-up – and they were so unlucky to lose to Man City on Boxing Day.

If they repeat that display they could win and should at least draw, Chelsea's home record is superb with eight wins and a draw from nine outings and of course Mourinho is unbeaten in the league at Stamford Bridge in his two spells.

For the record to end on Sunday you will get a best 13-5 at Coral while the draw pays 5-2 with bet365. You can have the best of both worlds by going Liverpool draw no bet at 6-4 with bet365 – and they have lost one of their last five against the Blues.

Luis Suarez failed to hit the target against City but was superb and must be looked at to score at 11-8 with Betfred and Ladbrokes. To net first he is 5-1 with Paddy Power and Ladbrokes.

I can see goals but over 2.5 goals pays 8-11 at BetVictor so what about Liverpool to score two or more at 13-8 with Coral.

Recommended Bets

Liverpool draw no bet
(6-4, bet365)

Suarez to score
(11-8, Betfred, Ladbrokes)

Liverpool to score 2+
(13-8, Coral)

are you saying Suarez was superb against city? I felt he was average at best, although should still have scored, and would have if weren’t for Henderson blocking it. Anyways that aside, I’m a Chelsea fan, and I too can’t see Liverpool losing. Not necessarily saying they will win either. So draw no bet or Liverpool double chance is probably best way to go. I remember years ago, Chelsea had gone on a very long unbeaten run, and the night before I dreamt we would lose 1-0 to Liverpool. Lo and behold, Alonso scored the only goal of the game and Liverpool beat us.

Chelsea fan, and it PAINS ME to say it, but its got the makings of another arsenal game for me! Were happy to grind out points against the big guns and pick up the scraps from everybody below. Bet of the day has to be a draw here, personally id have equal stakes on 0-0, 1-1 and under 2.5 goals

Liverpool r a huge price & from wat iv seen so far this season a better side than Chelsea bt Mourinho’s home league record concerns me, still think Liverpool won’t lose tho

Chelsea has problems and Chelsea fans know it! I saw the Blues struggle to get going forward against Sunderland in the League Cup. Then watched them against Arsenal 0-0 couple of chances from the wings and 1-0 Swansea with Hazard Goal. Liverpool on the other hand were relying on Suarez form at one time, with Coutinho now in the squad… I think Liverpool played very played collectively against City and Mourinho might have a headache – Probably for me Mourinho will close this game down, Suarez got banned last year there. Maybe a draw again here at the bridge. An early Chelsea goal could be a killer thou. Tough to call. Anything could happen. Suarez to score and Draw for me.

I’m having a small punt on Suarez to score last and 1-1 draw at 45/1.

In this game, I think mourinho will play a more defensive approach as he has demonstrated against big teams (man utd, arsenal, tottenham, man city). All these matches ended under 2.5 goals excluding the mancity game if not for torres’ extra time goal. My score prediction is 1-0 or 1-1 because fear of loosing is gonna dominate. Backing chelsea in a double chance and under 2.5 goal should be the best bet. Enjoy my tip all…

i am a liverpool fan and go to games, liverpool at the minute are a far better side than chelsea, and im not been biased, forget chelsea,s home record liverpool are not bothered about that, liverpool really should win today,we know chelsea can defend at home but liverpools attack can break any defence, for me today i just don,t think chelsea will have enough to keep liverpool out.liverpool to win @ 13/5 has to be had,we should have come away from city with at least a point, not many teams go to the etihad and walk away with their heads held high.anyone wanting to bet on this game should forget chelsea imo.

I think am d only one that think Chelsea will win this one. Chelsea has always raise the stake at home against big team and I see the same trend continuing.
    my recommended bet will be

    Chelsea draw no bet

First time i bet against Mr,F advice.

Captain Steven Gerrard and influential striker Daniel Sturridge are both out of this fixture against Chelsea.
Mourinho’s side have won five in a row at home
Liverpool have only won once away in their last seven

    Chelsea to beat Liverpool

Well I’m more than glad my opinion turned out to be wrong!! If only arsenal and united scored early against us too, maybe Chelsea would’ve tried to win those games as well
