IT wasn't quite the Boxing Day bonanza punters expected with Everton and Spurs the main cuplrits, closely followed by Dundee United and Derby.

Those four sides would have featured on the majority of accas whether I tipped them or not.

I'm focusing on Saturday's card so there won't be any Friday tips from me. There is one Belgian game featuring leaders Standard Liege at Kortrijk and a couple in Turkey for anyone who can't refuse a bet.

I'll put up a Saturday Super Single shortlist if I get a chance but anyone who has an idea can comment here.

PAUL…Stranraer around 5/6 and Jamie Longworth FGS 7/2 the way they played against Rangers no fears from Forfar

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

DougieC, only worry about Stranraer is playing two days after that Rangers result while Forfar will be well rested. Has to be considered when you look at part-time teams.

  2. Oor Man in Napoli 10 years ago

These games are worthy of a look for anyone tempted to rebalance the boxing day beating the bookies and tight schedule gave out. As you said, the close knit ties can cause some problems and I imagine they will continue over the weekend.
Ive put the odds next to the favourites.
Cant wait for the serie a, la liga, bund, and ligue to return to the schedule.

Kasimpasa 8/15 v Akhisar Bld Spor
    Genclerbirligi v Besiktas 21/20
    Kortrijk v Standard Liege 19/20
Maccabi Ironi Qiryat Atta v Hapoel Herzlia 4/5

Saturdays prem games sees all the teams in action only having 1 day rest. Makes it a bit harder to predict but with the squad available to man city they should cope adequately.

My super single will be with my more recent successes and again be over 1.5 first half goals. At home man city have amassed 18 goals conceding 3 in the first half and come up against crystal palace who have scored 2 and conceded 8.

I will be on man city -1.5 first half Asian handicap at 11/8 but a safer bet being over 1.5 first half goals at 41/40 bet365

Good luck to those having a bet

  4. EdRhodes89 10 years ago

Many thanks to the contributor who posted some great reasoning for the 11/8 available at the time for BTTS in the Rangers v Stranraer match. I can’t seem to find your post but if you read this, you know who you are and many thanks.

Thanks mainly to Mr F, a couple of others au fait with the Scottish lower leagues an the aforementioned mystery tipster, I’ve had my eye on Stranraer’s games for a couple of months. I agreed with the logic behind the BTTS shout and thought “If Stranraer score who’s gonna get it?”

Long story short, I ploughed into Jamie Longworth A/T at a frankly ridiculous 6/1 with coral.

Next year’s Christmas has come early let me tell ya.

Good luck with the festive punting and merry Christmas to all on the site.

PS if West Han don’t beat WBA at home on Saturday get your money on Allardici next sacking.

    • Alan 10 years ago

Good shout about Allardyce. I’ve been on the verge of backing him for next to be sacked for a couple of weeks now. The only thing that stopped me was the Cardiff fiasco. Checked odds last night and Allardyce was 6/1. Just checked now, and he is 7/4.

Glad my Rangers BTTS tip inspired you to look for an AT goalscorer for Stranraer. Never thought of that, although I was on the BTTS, and I had a small stake on Stranraer double chance at 7’s.

  5. DougieC 10 years ago

PAUL point taken but Forfar not lighting the heather losing to Ayr at Home and Rangers had no problem putting 6 past them. Not won in 5

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

DougieC, I know someone who knows some of the Stranraer players. I’ll try to find out how tired they’re feeling.

  6. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Was that a super single comp today on twitter?? Can’t see anything on the site for midwk games. £1.67 that was in account is on over 4.5 gls in puma estuidentes game just now but don’t think I’ll be betting today unless something comes up in play that looks a big price

  7. Sparky 10 years ago

East stirling look a fantastic bet. Won last time out up at Elgin playing a Montrose team who played today and lost 2 injury time goals! Shire are 3 pts better off than the gable endies and with home advantage and their feet up today I think 6/4 the shire looks super single material! :)

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Sparky, East Stirling will NEVER be my Super Single but I agree with you that they look a decent bet with Montrose having played on Thursday.

  8. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Just checked and it’s 3-3 in that game, £2.79 on over 6.5 gls on 75 mins at 11/8

  9. Chodio 10 years ago

Been following for some time but not posted. I see Boxing day has busted a few coupons but I for one didnt make a loss, so I thought I’d share some tips on the scarce games I’ve researched for tomorrow. I’ve determined they’re hard to call call for outrights, so I’ve gone for the BTTS market.

Melbourne Heart Vs Wellington. – Two bottom feeders. Home team have not won at home and the away team have not won away. Both team know this is a must win fixture so are likely to go all out. I was tempted for over 2.5 goals market, but it appears a 1-1 draw is more likely. Even though Wellington have come off the back of a home win over mid table Sydney, they’ve never won against Melbourne heart since 2010. Both have their top scorers in action in David Williams (MH) and Belgian man Stein Huysegens (Wellington).

Kortrijk Vs St. Liege. – For those thinking top spot means you’re invincible, its not necessarily true. Kortrijk have not lost at home since September this year and to make matter worse, St Liege have not won away to Kortrijk since 2009.
Both have their goals in this fixture, the hosts vying for a top 6 spot and the visitors trying to put some distance between 1st and 2nd.
kortrijk have not failed to score (minus cup games) at home since May this year and have scored against the visitors in 4 out of 5 home games. Having said that, St Liege are not going to roll over.

Genclerbirligi Vs Besiktas. The visitors have scored in 9 of the last 10 outings, and more often than not, scored against their opponents. The home side have scored in 7 of their last 10 home games, and even though neither of them are in particularly fine form, theres been a total of 8 goals between them in their last 2 meetings.

Kasimpasa Vs Akhisar Belediye. This one is different. Akhisar Belediye have not scored an away Turkish League goal since August this year. Thats 8 league games. Now they face 2nd place Kasimpasa, eager to shorten the 7 point gap at the top, therefore a tightened defense.

    Melbourne Heart v Wellington Phoenix 8.30am – BTTS 4/6
    Gençlerbirligi SK v Besiktas JK 6pm – BTTS 8/13
Kasimpasa SK v Akhisar Belediyespor – BTTS NO 4/5
Kortrijk v Standard de Liege – BTTS 8/11

You can perm the above, but with those odds I have just done a 4 fold.

£10 gets you £83.71. Good Luck

Over 6.5 in all in for another go in last 10 mins :)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

They did indeed gunner4tenminutes. Only good that came out of it was that everyone made money backing Killie, the cash they all lost on your Arsenal are certainties tip v Chelsea!!

  12. Craig Alves 10 years ago

    Haha £1.67 to £16.58 in 1 2nd half of randoms :)

  13. Madi 10 years ago

Really need to start posting my bets here that I think will happen so that I actually place it! Really fancied city win and btts to score as I did in the city arsenal game only difference is I didn’t place the bet today :/ took the ss as main bet today and it bombed!

  14. Madi 10 years ago

Not placing any blame on you mr f btw I was just too lazy to do my own bets :(

  15. Alan 10 years ago

A good value bet for Saturday is Luton to beat Kidderminster. They are unbeaten at home, only dropping points in three games. They have won their last seven at home, and won them well, only scoring less than three goals on one occasion. It won’t qualify for Mr F’s SS as they are just under evens @ 10/11, but are well worth backing. Kidderminster’s away form is poor, losing three of their last four.

Also, their last five games home and away have been Luton HT/FT. You can get 2/1 for the double result in this game. As I said earlier, Luton are scoring for fun, especially at home, and are 11/4 to score +2.5 team goals. Kidderminster have conceded three goals in three of their last five games.

    Luton (home win) 10/11
    Luton (HT/FT) 2/1
    Luton (O 2.5 team goals) 11/4

    • Alan 10 years ago

Also in the Conference, a possible SS contender could be Woking away at Dartford. Currently available @ 11/10. Dartford have lost TEN on the bounce, whilst Woking have won five of their last seven. They seem over priced to me. Is there a reason?

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Alan, re Woking. It will be just the time of the year. You can’t rely on form when teams are playing a lot of matches.

  16. Tushar 10 years ago

Treble : arsenal, Everton and Chelsea

  17. tony Mitchell 10 years ago

Was a very good day for me put a 40p 7 team acca on Monday( yeh not much but with a £213.04 return worked out very nicely. Hapoel bel sheeva Kaiserslautern and bursaspor all won on Monday good wins for Southampton @11/8 Kilmarnock @8/5 Fulham @11/4 and palace @7/2

  18. Rustychest 10 years ago

Good day gents. Hope you’re all having a good holiday season. Last night was unlucky but today I recouped and even doubled what I had before going in thanks to my Hockey and Basketball picks of which I continue the over 90% success I’ve pulled off this season. Thank you American sports.

I don’t see many options tonight, but I would tip:

    Besiktas Over 1.5 Goals 10/11
Standard Liege Over 1.5 Goals 5/6
Melbourne Heart Over 1.5 Goals 11/10 (Starts in half an hour)

Good luck if you decide on any.

  19. Xmarine85 10 years ago

    Morning Gents

    Besiktas Win 21/20 Bet365

    Enjoy your day.

  20. MiniDuff 10 years ago

Going to have a small flutter with small stakes today.

Kasimpasa to Win – sitting second against a team that hasn’t scored so far away from home.

Genclirbirilgi v Besiktas BTTS – Besiktas’ last 6 games have seen both score and they have scored in all but one away game this season. Genclirbrilgi have only failed to score in one home game this season.

Kortrijk v Standard Liege BTTS – The last two played at Kortrijk have seen both teams score, and Kortrijk normally score at home with their good home record. Standard Liege have only conceded 4 goals away from home this season and should win I think (not confident enough to put my money on it though), but I think Kortijik should have enough to grab a goal despite their recent poor form.

    Treble pays 3.4/1.

I’d have a look at some of the more obscure games but I really can’t be bothered and I’m instead looking forward to the weekend games.

  21. Rustychest 10 years ago

    Reasoning behind the Besiktas tip:

    – Hugo Almeida returns tonight after last week’s suspension. He has netted 10 goals and 3 assists in 14 Super Lig fixtures this season. Even without him Besiktas managed to net in 4 goals.

    – Hugo Almeida has netted 5 in last 4 matches.

    – Besiktas has scored at least 2 goals against Genclerbirligi in 5 out of 6 matches.

    – This season, out of the 8 matches at home, Genclerbirligi have only managed to keep a clean sheet twice.

    • The Turk 10 years ago

Good reasoning then again the safer bet is BTTS at a shorter odds of 4/7.
I have also backed Kasimpasa @1/2 in a double.

  22. MarkS 10 years ago

Mr fixit, Halifax 11/10 at home 2 Lincoln could be a contender for s/s.

Mr F …my tip for your tips ..always avoid games involving St Mirren ..they’re too unpredictable too often

    • beetee 10 years ago

maybe so but the buddies have had a decent wee run of games picking up points and after putting 4 past an in form dundee united , for once i cant see them slipping up after such a decent result especially against the jambos who are really really struggling.. normally its a toss of coin between these two at love street/new stmirren park and its very very rare to see st mirren at odds on at home. best odds of 8/11 aint great but the jambos just cant win just now.

Great day boxing day big win with brentford just below a grand, then lost on Dundee Utd – £300 , lost £200 on Everton in a treble and lost £300 on over 1.5 goals Derby.
    Finished with £300 in running at half time on Fulham when 1-1 and Burton when 0-0 time both score in last 5 mins to bring home nice £2630 pick up Good Day;
looking forward to Alex’s selections for Saturday

There’s a cracking bet to be had on Skybet. It’s called -Correct Score Group Betting. I’m sure some of u have seen it. If not, u will find it in the bets categories of matches u select. You can pick ur fancied team to win 1-0,2-0 or 2-1. If they win by any of them scores ur a winner. Also a 3-0,3-1 or 3-2 choice for those teams u feel will be more dominant, or a game you feel more goals are to be had. There’s also a draws section as well. It’s just something I thought I’d bring to the attention of those that like a small stakes flutter on a good returns acca. For some reason the bet only applies to the English league’s barring the Conference. Don’t know if other bookies do similar. There were 23 games yesterday that finished either 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1. You cam also mix n match with the other options available. I got 4 out of 6 yesterday. My £1 would have returned £965. Worth a pop.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

John Boy, Skybet make it easy with the section but you can group any set of correct scores with any bookie and bet on them using a perm.

  47. Zlaja 10 years ago

I feel away teams are really handicapped in Premiership this saturday as they are on the road again after one day rest. Also, many of them won their games so the pressure should be on home teams who came out emptyhanded yesterday.

Hull-Fulham should be a home win. Hull played really good and almost had Man.Utd. Fulham won a bit unexpectedly at Norwich so they are half-satisfied and with few injury problems I don’t expect much resistance from their side. I suggest this as super single.

Cardiff dissapointed vs Southampton, so they’ll bite hard against Sunderland who won at Everton, but has to be noted that came from penalty after Howard’s been sent off, and they just preserved the lead afterwards. Another home win for me.

Villa and Swansea is close to a draw, as hosts have poor home results and guests lacking their best scorer. Both teams lost yesterday, so point for each should be enough tomorrow.

In Championship, I’ll try draws at Nothingham vs Leeds, and blackburn vs Birmingham. Reading might win at M’borough and Ipswich at B’mouth.

In Turkey Gaziantep and Bursa should also draw.

  48. lee cunliffe 10 years ago

I have to agree with Alan, super single Woking away 11/10 vs Dartford side that just can’t win. Woking have 5 wins in their last 8 including tough victories over Nuneaton and Halifax away and Kidderminster at home, all 3 of whom are top 8 sides.

Malky Mackay has just been sacked! Its a disgrace

    • Alan 10 years ago

Absolutely. I thought it was just us, that had IDIOTS for owners.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Honda, it’s a disgrace but no surprise – been on the cards for months. Hopefully Malky will get a decent job quickly and Cardiff fans somehow get Tan out.

    • honda 10 years ago

Malky for west brom job anyone?

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Malky Mackay is better away from that clown Tan. Mackay will find another club no problem, it is Cardiff’s fans I feel sorry for. No manager will be comfortable working for Tan.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

raaljaca, Cardiff will get a boss no problem. Someone will be quite happy to take the big wages and big compensation if they get sacked. As Colin Duncan said in today’s Daily Record feel sorry for Mackay but remember he’s walking out with up to £2m in his back pocket.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Spot on Mr F. Malky Mackay had proved himself and will more than likely be delighted to be away from that owner.

    • The Turk 10 years ago

The writing has been on the wall for a few weeks now, I think the only issue was the couple of million compansatition.
I have backed Yilmaz Vural to be the next Cardiff manager this morning as it has been on the Turkish press a few weeks ago that he has had a meeting with Cardiff City’s Turkish director. Mr Vural himself confirmed the meeting and has said all was agreed in principle but the club was worrried about upsetting the supporters.
Now that the position is available Mr Vural’s agent tweeted that there would be a new manager appointed within 48 hours,

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

The Turk, back him then as bookies favourite is Solskjaer.

    • The Turk 10 years ago

I’ve backed him this morning and checked his agents tweets again earlier on. He sounds keen. His name is Muzzi Ozcan, check his tweets please.

  54. Donald Priest 10 years ago

Couldn’t agree more Honda, it is a disgrace. The fans deserve better but sadly that’s football nowadays. Catch 22 do i want them to go down or not as that’s more misery for the fans. Not touching them this weekend as i don’t know how the players will react.

Why do bookies keep giving me free money? Just opened my E/mails and have a free £20.00 bet token from Corals (They don’t say why) I’ve put that on Luton @ 1/1 (Stake not returned with this offer)

Also have a £5.00 loyalty bonus from Bet365. I’ve put that on a Luton, Halifax and Woking treble @ a touch over 6/1.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Alan, bookies do it all the time – loyalty bonuses or also bets to tempt you to have a go if you haven’t had a punt for a while. They also reward you for being a loser – so I hope that’s not you.

    • Alan 10 years ago

Ha ha. Well Mr F, I’m doing better now I’ve discovered this site. Here’s to a profitable 2014.

    • Stealth 10 years ago

MrF, out of interest what level of winnings would you have to generate before a site such as bet365 stopped or limited your account? Does it happen pretty often?

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Stealth, it happens often. However, it’s betting patterns rather than winning amounts that bookies look at. Obviously if you were taken them for thousands each week they’d look at it but the accounts they close tend to be the ones where people are betting on special markets such as goals.

    • Stealth 10 years ago

I don’t think they’re terribly worried about me, unfortunately

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Don’t you worry about the bookies Stealth, we all love you mate!

    • Stealth 10 years ago

Bless you raaljaca, I never knew you cared

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

All one big family on here Stealth!!!

  73. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Raal, ready looking at Saturdays and Sundays games mate! :)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Excellent Greg. Reckon we will lose quite a few matches due to waterlogging at this rate. It is hammering down and blowing a gale in Edinburgh.

  74. Craig Alves 10 years ago

KABYLIE race to 9 corners 5/6, 6-2 up at ht so great value

  75. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Stealth, a few mates of mine where paying for tips and they would come out at 5.30pm the night before! They were putting their bets on early and the price would always shorten the next day! The bookies became aware if this trend and closed all his accounts!

  76. Will 10 years ago

When you putting tips up for Sunday mr f couldn’t get on site Boxing Day as its become hugely popular due to your success rate on football.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Will, it should be OK this weekend. Sunday tips will be up on Saturday night.

  77. thechief 10 years ago

After the madness of the last few days, I’m glad to be home in time for a great evening of darts. Three good looking games tonight starts with,

    Whitlock v Painter

For me the closest game of the night, and potentially the best match of the night. Two former beaten finalist will be looking to make another final in what is a wide open top half of the draw. There is hardly anything between them in terms of averages, Whitlock as thrown 98 & 95 average, whilst Painter has thrown 97 & 91. To me this looks like going all the way, and for that reason I will take 05.5 sets at 8/11 Various and in a game Painter could even win I will be on Painter +1.5 at 1/1 Various.

OVER 5.5 SETS IN THE MATCH 8/11
    PAINTER +1.5 SETS 1/1

    Wright v Smith

Second match sees the colourful “Snakebite” Wright take on Phil Taylor’s Conqueror “Bully Boy Smith”. Smith Averaged 94 against Taylor, hit more 180s and finished him on the bull. It was totally opposite to his first round math when he admitted to being “devastated” with his performance. The expectations have risen on him now and even though Wright is the favourite, I expect the fans will be having a nibble at Smith at 21/20. Wright has probably been those consistent player I the tournament so far. He changed his darts for the second and hit a lot of 140s but not many 180s. He as had time to practice with them and I expect the match to be played a good pace and their head to head reads 2 wins apiece. We could be in for another close match. I will take the 010.5 match 180s at EVENS Skybet.

    OVER 10.5 MATCH 180s 1/1

    Van Barneveld v Webster

Two former champions complete the night, and although I would like to see Webster win, I think RVB will prove to be too strong. Webster has been taken to deciding sets in both games so far and survived match darts against Henderson. What as surprised me is Webster 180 scoring he has hit 15 in his two matches, whilst RVB has 12. If Webster can take a set or two of RVB then I think we will see O11.5 match 180s at 11/10 Bet365. The other bet I like is Webster highest checkout. He has checked out 151 and 157 in his first 2 rounds yet the line is set at 119.5 at 5/6 Skybet & Coral. They must fancy a big RVB win but it looks really on the low side to me, especially as he only needs to hit Shanghai with his most players favourite out shot too land the bet.

    OVER 11.5 MATCH 180s 11/10
WEBSTER HIGHEST CHECKOUT 119.5 OVER 5/6

Good luck if your having a bet

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Chief, who will I put my 50p on to win the tournament? Whitlock?

  78. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Ah the chief! Superb mate! That’s my night planned! Cheers :)

  79. Craig Alves 10 years ago

    RT9 wins 5/6 & got £17 on kabylie win 11/8 covered £5 btts at 9/1 too

  80. mo 10 years ago

craig which bookies gave you inplay race to 9 corners bet?
    thanks

  81. Craig Alves 10 years ago
    • mo 10 years ago

thanks, that was a brilliant tip 6-2 at ht , 5/6 odds

  82. thechief 10 years ago

Haha hope you had a good un Greg, glad to get back to normal mate I’ve had enough Baileys and Danny Dyer in East Enders to see me through to next year :)

  83. fatiamu 10 years ago

please i would love to bet on the double chance for Kortrijk in the Belgium league but i have a little doubt with odd increasing.i have a fear that some thing is wrong somewhere and the bookie want to make some cash from this match.please can anyone give any info or advice on the game between Kortrijk and Standard Liege?

  84. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Just tried £5 double on besiktas RT5 & kasimpasa RT7 and £5 on kasimpasa 2nd gl before 70 mins

    • macca the red 10 years ago

what does rt5 and rt7 stand for lol

  85. Rob Sutton 10 years ago

Macca – Race to seven and race to nine

  86. jamesy 10 years ago

    Bloody kasimpasa joke..

  87. Tempest 10 years ago

I’ve just got my new year resolution: Never bet on any Turkish football games EVER! Kasimpasa and Besiktas are such a let down, Damn!

    • Patrick 10 years ago

I seldom bet on Turkish footy for this very reason. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if there is match fixing in some of these games.

  88. Danny T 10 years ago

Anyone fancy a draw in besiktas game

  89. Patrick 10 years ago

Akhisar haven’t scored in 8 away games this season and when I bet against them, they score 4 against the league’s second ranked side.

  90. jamesy 10 years ago

    Ano its a joke!!!

  91. JoeX 10 years ago

Cashed out on Kasimpasa at 1-0 for a small loss. Just aint liking Turskish football at the moment.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/soccer-dirty-tackle/kasimpasa-ryan-donk-throws-second-ball-match-ball-182352041–sow.html

Recent match and there was a lot more going on in that game that I cant locate.

    Supposedly a rematch being arranged.

  92. Patrick 10 years ago

Did the ref just blow up before Akhisar took their penalty?

  93. Rubyhardie 10 years ago

I will be staying away from Turkish football now also after that Kasimpasa result. Fatiamu also thought there was something fishy with the Belgian game as he mentions above. Strangely I then went Over2.5 at just under evens and the bet is up at HT. Funny old game as they say. Roll on the British cards tomorrow.

  94. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Last bet of the night £30 and banked cash so £28 up fpr the day at least. £30 on standard liege 4th gl before 80 mins 5/6

  95. raaljaca 10 years ago

    LEOPARDSTOWN 2.55 SATURDAY

    Unioniste (13/2) (each way)

The value in this race comes from the fact the favourite is the Nicky Henderson trained Bobs Worth. For what it is worth, it may come back to bite me in the ass, do not back this favourite as I do not see the value in it at 9/4. UNIONISTE stands out as brilliant each way value as the Paul Nicholls trained gelding is following the path of Nicholls Tidal Bay which won this last year. The quality in this field is amazing but Unioniste for me will make the frame and hopefully take this for Nicholls again.

  96. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Painter, what a complete trumpet of a laddie!

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Don’t bet on the darts Greg but can I assume he got beat?

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Just scrolled up and saw Chiefs write up, Whitlock is decent player though isn’t he?

  97. Kev 10 years ago

I know Greg! Was on chiefs tips too. Went for wright 4-2 and barne 4-1 for a silly 17/1 double, fingers crossed

  98. Greg Browning 10 years ago

The chief had a great few days mate,
Done absolutely nothing bar eat and drink! Off until next Monday! :)

Raal, looks that way mate, still battering down with rain up in te shire, just back to Glasgow and it ain’t much better!

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Just hope it eases at least for Sunday, huge amount of games which is good.

  99. William bailie 10 years ago

Hi raal :) any thoughts on the welsh national tomorrow? I’ve backed tidal bay (got 16s ten days ago) because he runs loads of the others are outta the handicap , grounds fine for him and track suits closers. If he stands up I think he’s gotta go close !

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Now there is an interesting coincidence William, I just did a small write up regarding backing UNIONISTE tomorrow in the Lexus Chase at Leopardstown and mentioned it was won last year by TIDAL BAY. The horse obviously likes this time of year so I will take a look tonight mate at the field and see whats what. Only concern is this weather as we may lose a meeting or two. Hope you had a great Xmas in sunny Belfast mate.

  100. Tommy 10 years ago

Craig, be careful with Kortijk, they are a good home side (5-3-1) with 18 goals scoring

  101. Kev 10 years ago

Aye Whitlock was fave. This next game should be a cracker!

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Kev, would Whitlock have a shout of winning the tournament?

  102. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Standard goal on 62 mins :) £5 on again before 80 mins and bank £50

    • Stealth 10 years ago

Craig, thanks for the great shout on next goal before 80 minutes……pure quality

  103. Tommo 10 years ago

Cheers for highlighting the Standard Liege goal before 80 minutes!

    …you going for another??

  104. Tommo 10 years ago

I see that you are haha

  105. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Tommy just seen post, thankfully it paid off, standard were 3-0 up at ht and 1-0 within 5 mins so must be having an off day. Hope they can get a 5th before 80 mins as was 2 mins away from kasimpasa gl before 70 mins, if not can’t complain either way. Hope wright knocks out smith here tho, same wi ando tomorrow but won’t be backing him against mighty mike

  106. DougieC 10 years ago

Craig on the Liege 4th goal £25 of Raaljacas gg tips. Sorry Raal didn’t get back to you Thanks mate Being Murdered with Skylanders and Ninja Turtles. Peace now to pick a winner for tomorrow. Think you will find Unioniste will shorten to 7/2 best Thanks again Craig

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Dougie, let me know tomorrow what you are on mate. Unioniste looks a really decent bet.

  107. William bailie 10 years ago

Wasn’t a bad one just cold mate ! Weather can do what it pleases cos the ground can’t be soft enough for tidal bay ! Good luck with unioniste .

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Cheers William. I will have an each way on Tidal Bay too and a small each way double.

  108. Kev 10 years ago

He does but he wouldn’t be my pick raal. Always feel he bottles the big games. If it’s small stakes go for wright or smith e/w ;) no one else will be worth it.

On a different note, anyone else notice bet365s prices have become a lot poorer? I remember when they used to beat everyone for prices, but now even skybet seem to have better odds. Derby and Dundee for instance? Wonder if it’s cos we have all given them such a bashing this year :D

  109. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Calling all darts fans and experts ( and the chief) over. 1.5 set 180’s in set two and the same for set 3, seem great value! 1st set came in no worries with 3! Same stake for the next two sets!

  110. Tommo 10 years ago

Cha ching! Got on the fifth before 80 minutes @ 9/4

  111. Craig Alves 10 years ago

And there’s number 5 on 78 mins :) think I’ll have a wee bet on darts now

  112. Alex 10 years ago

Anyone else miss the European leagues already? :P

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Absolutely Alex, the Bundesliga was excellent for goals. Suppose it is a positive that we can concentrate on games closer to home though!

  113. Danny T 10 years ago

Greg o am sure there were only 2 in first set mate

  114. Greg Browning 10 years ago

    10/11 for over 1.5

  115. John 10 years ago

Alex i’m definalely missing the Dutch First Division games, not so much the French 2nd Division games as i don’t really know much about them

  116. Craig Alves 10 years ago

    Smith win 4-3 £1 @13/2
    Wright win 4-3 £1 @5/1

    Barney win 4-2 £1.75 @10/3

Good to see some were on 5th ander gl before 80 mins, left it late :)

  117. Danny T 10 years ago

    I need more 180,s as I have over 10.5 . I don’t normally follow darts buts I guess it’s not looking good?

  118. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Danny that’s 6 already and it will hopefully go the full 7 sets, less than half way and there’s number 7 :)

  119. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Danny, sorry mate, your right was just two!

    180’s doing well :)

    Set 1 over 1.5 180’s Win
    Set 2 over 1.5 180’s Lose
    Set 3 over 1.5 180’s Win
    Set 4 over 1.5 180’s Win

  120. Danny T 10 years ago

Greg no need to apologise I think this is the second darts match Ihave eeve seen the first being that barney v Taylor final a while back.Craig iI so hope to get 4 more now cheers guys

  121. Mark 1976 10 years ago

I am liking the check out colour green at 9/4 seems to be favourite in this match with double 16

  122. Greg Browning 10 years ago

    Roll on the 180’s :)

    4 out of 5 sets over 1.5

    Over 11.5 looking good!

  123. Danny T 10 years ago

Wow hats off to you chief thanks so much this was the bet I used to replace Mr f ss for today :-)

  124. Will 10 years ago

Cheers mr f. Couldn’t get on Boxing Day

  125. Greg Browning 10 years ago

What a fantastic game of darts, must thank the chief! Had he not not posted wouldn’t have had anything on! Took his over 11.5 match 180’s and managed 5 out out of 6 over 1.5 set 180’s!

Cheers also to will for his 9/1 and 12/1 winners in his luck 15!

  126. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Cannae believe that 20 knocked 2 out the treble 20 haha 4-3 either player looking good but prefer wright to go through

  127. Craig Alves 10 years ago

    C’mon Wright

  128. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Who will tge winner of newton wright play??

  129. JoeX 10 years ago

I never watch Darts but that Smith Wright game was some of the most dramatic sport I’ve had the pleasure of viewing.

Pure drama and The Chiefs Over 10.5 Match 180’s came in no problem and Smith wasn’t far off that stat on his own.

  130. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Probably whitlock in semis if he beats newton, 12/1 ew great price going by that performance

  131. Roseholme 10 years ago

Any tip for Basketball tonite Heat v Thunder pls

  132. Craig Alves 10 years ago

8/1 @bet365 Wright to win, must’ve been some amount of £££ coming in for him

  133. DougieC 10 years ago

Hope no one took Wigan tomorrow Malkie come home

  134. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Phil Brown should get Cardiff job, he’s the only manager with previous experience of working with a ridiculous tan

  135. Greg Browning 10 years ago

The Chief, brilliant stuff mate, both your over 180’s tips in at a canter! Cheers fella :)

  136. Dg 10 years ago

The Chief. What tipping on over180’s.
    Genius buddy
raaljaca,Greg,Fix it and your good self, what a Lucky 15

  137. JoeX 10 years ago

Took Chiefs first tips and lost but went on with the Wright/Smith Overs and Barney/Webster Overs for a decent return.

  138. Danny T 10 years ago

Chief I love you thank you so much for tonight

  139. Craig Alves 10 years ago
