THERE are six games in France tonight and leaders Lyon will be looking to regain their five-point advantage over PSG who they face on Sunday.

Lyon have won three in a row without conceding while Nancy's last four have been score draws. Something has to give and I'll be on Lyon at 2-5 with William Hill to make it seven home wins in a row against their opponents.

Lorient shocked Marseille 3-0 away at the weekend and can follow up by beating Sochaux at home. They are 4-5 at William Hill. Former Arsenal kid Jeremie Aliadiere netted in the Stade Velodrome and is 6-4 at bet365 to score again.

Marseille coach Elie Baup held clear-the-air talks with his players after a ninth defeat in 16 games.

Despite the run they will go level with PSG with a win in Bastia and it's worth a look. Marseille are 7-5 at BetVictor and face a side who have failed to score in three matches.

And crucially the game will be played behind closed doors at the Stade Armand Cesari after unsavoury in Bastia's match against Ajaccio in October. Bastia are without banned midfielder Florian Thauvin and have a host of other injuries.

Ajaccio suffered a bad defeat to champions Montpellier last Saturday but will hope to do better against a Reims side without an away win all season. Reims haven't won in eight and away from home have netted just twice with their last coming 480 minutes ago – and it was an OG.

The last one from their own player was in the fifth minute of their opening away game at Bastia on August 18. It was claimed by Nicolas Fauvergue who is injured tonight.

Ajaccio could be a shout at 1-1 with with William Hill and are 7-4 at Ladbrokes to win to nil.

There are two Coppa Italia games and the Juventus v Cagliari tie will be full of emotion as boss Antonio Conte takes his seat in the home dugout for the first time this season after completing a ban.

Conte will want to mark the moment with a win and as long as he puts out a strong side should get it. Juve are 1-3 with William Hill. In the other tie between Parma and Catania best bet could be both to score at 10-11 at William Hill.

Big guns such as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid roll up in the Copa de Rey and remember these are first-leg ties. Barca's Messi and Atletico's Falcao are the two hottest strikers on the planet but are likely to be rested ahead of the La Liga meeting between the top two at the weekend.

Atletico are 9-20 at BetVictor to beat Getafe, Barca 3-10 (various) at Cordoba and Real 2-5 (various) at Celta Vigo. All are expected to win but check team news before betting because all will be severely weakened.

Tony, not your fault really but the Old Firm debate just kicked off again. As has been said before the comments aren’t welcome and will be deleted.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Danny, Tony, there are shocks throughout the season but it’s not something I can tip because they normally go beyond all betting logic. I just don’t see it happening at Arbroath.

Do you not think messi will play ant role tonight to scores many gls as possible, I think he’ll start then come off at ht after he’s scored 2 or 3. Think Barcelona have 3 games left and their boss said he’ll do anything he can to help him score as many as possible

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Craig, can we leave out the Old Firm jibes please. On Messi, I don’t if he will play. He has the record now and there’s a massive game with Atletico at the weekend. But if he plays he’ll score for sure.

John, let’s leave it at that and concentrate on the tips.

    Bets on for tonight.

£30 ew on Aliadere first goal @ 11/2
£20 ew on Charlie Mulgrew First Goal @ 12/1
£90 on Wanyama to score anytime at 10/3

    Good luck everyone

  17. Mr Chris Guy 11 years ago

Can’t believe Wanyama is still 10/3 to score anytime. He is only 6/5 Stan James, 11/8 Boylesports, 7/5 Paddy Power and 7/4 with Skybet, Ladbrokes and Will Hill. I think Coral may have this one wrong.

Looks straight foward enough tonight, haa we shall wait and see how these picks geton ..
    Swansea
    Mansfield v Lincoln BTTS
    Juventus
    Marseille
    Lorient
    Celtic-2

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Gregg, for the cup games it’s all about teams committed to win and playing strong line-ups. Lorient should win and I’m on Marseille because they need a result and the fact it’s behind closed doors at Bastia should be to their advantage.

  19. Gregg E 11 years ago

Cheers paul pat on backs for credible selections, I was stupid enough to add Celtic -2 ouch lol, win some lose some eh

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Gregg, again it’s a poor show by Celtic. Have to be beating these teams more than one.

  20. Adam 11 years ago

    Finally a good result!

    Swansea
    Montpellier
    Ajaccio
    Lorient
    Marsellie

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Adam, I think I gave them all a mention except Montpellier so well done.

  21. Adam 11 years ago

Thanks mate, I used your tips wisely :) haha

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Adam, they were just for you mate so I hope so.
