I'M not enjoying this trial one bit and maybe starting on what was mainly a cup week was a mistake.
Panathinaikos beat me yesterday for a 4.82pts single and ironically the Greeks also downed long-shot Lee's 14-1 treble. For the second day in a row he was unlucky after backing Matt Smith at 4-1 to score first for Bristol City and Sevilla to win.
I'm down to my last four points and have decided to go all or nothing – if I lose it will cost me a few pints and that's all as that was my wager with Lee.
My choice is at bigger odds than I've been taking but that might not be a bad thing the way results have gone this week. I'm going with Heerenveen at Dordrecht at 3-4 with Skybet and the Dutch side may also feature on my top tips.
After correctly tipping Matt Smith to score first for Bristol City yesterday Lee is on Watford's Odion Ighalo, who hit four at Blackpool last week, to net at Bournemouth. He's adding PSG -1 and Bayern -1 to take his treble above 10-1.

I feel your pain on this bank builder, I decided to follow from the start just to see how it worked out. It will be a slow build up again. Might be an idea to give the level stakes a trial on a similar thread once the bank builder has finished, We battle on.

Seems Lee stands a better chance at getting a full house by weekend. Best shot would have been for both of you to restrict it to weekends, champs league and uefa. Bottom line Lee is a very good punter and has won me some few cash cos i do his stakes as doubles. Thanks Lee.
Or maybe the bank builder could be done by someone else who looks at more obscure markets (>0.5 goals or corners or cards maybe instead). Bank building based on results is hard to do as how many times do u see 1/5 and longer odds get taken down.
Would also like too see the fixer man take on lee with his SS v long shot but to include cover bets.
Evo21up, anyone can take part in the bank builder and post their own tips – bottom line is results have been poor this week and that’s why it’s down.
Try this bank builder?
Banker for 1 point
PSG Club Bruge and lay Wyck Hill Chep 2.20 for 0.7pt profit
0.7pt on Braga & Bayern double for 1pt profit
max loss 1.7pt & max win 1.7pt (double your money)
Been following this bank builder/long shot all week. Though Lees treble looked good last night but ended up missing the Panathinaikos (good job i did aswell lol) So i went for villareal instead.
Villareal
Smith 1st scorer
Sevilla
14/1
johnboy, nice one. I hope from what I said and Lee’s tip that plenty had Smith to score first or anytime. He has another scorer for tonight and tips will be up soon.
Very interesting how this is panning out with Mr F and so called Bankers.
Down to his last 4 points and could be out the running pretty soon and this just goes to show that there is no such thing as bankers out there.
As i see it with short odd bankers you get a bad run of even 3 or 4 results and your bank is decimated and can take a long time to recover and patience and discipline is paramount on that score.
Treat it as a marathon and not a short sprint seems to be the best way to approach gambling, that is one thing i am learning from sites like this when i see how hard it can be at times.
why not try this one as it has come in 2 times in a row rennes to beat psg with both teams scoring got to be 20s or better rennes last 2 away to psg has seen them win 2-1 so im going for it lads hope im right and good luck
Darran, Psg not getting result from Rennes in two straight count will make the tie harder for Rennes….Psg is aware of it and wouldn’t like it to a hatrick…Psg to win but the odd is too low.No value
Very long shot with an odd £0.71 in the account:
Psg v RENNES & btts 28/1
Bournemouth 2 – 3 WATFORD 28/1

£0.71 returns £597.00

Mr F, how about doing regular draw no bet and/or double chance doubles ? Seems to me you’re particularly good at picking doubles, and also profitable with the DNB, double chance bets.
Why not combine them? Doubles priced around Evs +
Just an idea.
Baldy45, I don’t rule out anything – probably is there are too many markets and too many different types of bets I could put up.
watford 2 r more gls 15/8
munich 3 r more gls 6/4

I think your selections have been solid and you have been unlucky but the word banker is getting used to much here.
At 1/3 you will lose once in every four that is no banker in my book.
The variant’s at that price tell you that there is a 25% chance of hitting something in the region of 6 consecutive losers over a period of 1000 bets.
therefore when you have a pot of 200 the max bet should be about 20 to allow for the variants.
Betting around 60 or 70 is asking for trouble and is in no way a bank builder.
For me this experiment has shown the classic example of people over rating the chance of one particular bet landing and playing into the bookies hands by not dealing with the variants.
I think you are a great tipster but it needs a lot more than great tips to beat the bookies.
Lucky lad,I don’t think I’ve used the word banker once – I don’t like it. This is a trial as you point out and for me it’s been an interesting one. Lee’s tips have been praised but he’s still won hee-haw.
Today’s bank builder double:
Bournemouth v Watford
(Corner in 1st 10 Mins) 4/9
Heerenveen
(DNB) 1/4
Stake £11.00 to return £21.45
Hahahaha,,funny Mr.Fix,”i dont like this bank builder a bit”……..Endure Mr.Fix,silly results this whole week
mr f i dont know about you, but i think football results are far harder to call these days, i know for afact few seasons ago i would win on average at least i in 3 bets, and good profitable bets at that.
bigmick, I’m not sure – it’s just about picking the right ones. However, recently many short-priced sides have flopped and cup games are getting harder to call.
mr f no doubt about the cup games, they are real banana skins. anyway maybe this weekend will be good to us.

Yeah fair enough Mr F you never used the word banker but you did decide to put 33% of your pot on a 1/3 shot I am not here to have a go I think that gambling is about a lot more than the selections and bank roll management is key.
Cup games league games it doesn’t matter the most important thing is a plan of attack long term.
Your super single 5% of bank roll is bang on its perfect % to deal with the variants just feel you over bet the pot here with this experiment but respect the work you put in and feel we all should be learning all the time.
Lucky Lad, it’s a mythical pot in what is simply a trial – I’d never do that with my proper betting bank and I’ve said on dozens of occasions the maximum stake should be 10 per cent.

Stu, it is indeed and the trial will cost me nothing but a few beers. Lee will keep going until he’s finished and he’s issued a challenge. He wants me to pick one person to challenge him every day and if you beat him (we’ll make it a deadline of February 28) he’ll give you £25 in betting vouchers. So if you want to challenge Lee comment here or tomorrow before 1pm and tell us why you should get a chance (the only rule is you bet a bet every day).
that’s the quickest £200 I have gave to Mr Coral,
Ohh well Never mind onwards and upwards…
Paul….30 days is not a realistic timescale for this trial. Over 30 days it was a case of who lost his bank first…and as astonished as I am that those bets went against you, you only had 4 or 5 bets to work with, whereas ‘Lee’ had weeks/months of bets to go on.
I personally don’t think either of the strategies work and good old level stakes at evens plus wins the day.
Good entertainment though :)
Trucker, our trial had no timescale – this one does because it can’t go on forever.
i want to challenge lee MR F …I don’t care about the prize…i just want to beat him :)
