DAY 4: BANK BUILDER v LONG SHOT TRIAL

AFTER three days of the trial I finally landed a winner – and what a sweat it was.

I was on Juventus at 4-11 to beat Parma in the Italian Cup but the only goal came after 88 minutes and moves me up to 8.82pts out of a starting bank of 20.

Long-shot Lee was unlucky with his 20-1 treble as only a Mali missed penalty beat him. His other picks were Ivory Coast and a draw at Sheffield Utd v Spurs.

Today Lee is on a treble that pays 14-1 and he's taking Sevilla at home Espnayol in Copa del Rey and Panathinaikos at home to Xanthi in the Greek Cup. They are both about 1-2 and he's taking the treble over the 10-1 barrier he's set by adding Matt Smith to score first for Bristol City against Gillingham in the JP Trophy Southern Final.

Meanwhile, in the shoot-out for £20 of betting vouchers that Luke and Buick were playing for last night they were won by Luke whose prediction for time of first goals at Bramall Lane was closest.

My own day 4 Bank Builder is simply Panathinaikos to win. They're dominant in Greek football and while it's a cup game they're the holders and will want to do well again.
