THIS trial is starting again – without me. Long-shot Lee will now take on Punting For Fun (Rod during the month of February.
Lee reckons he can win more betting on 10-1 shots and above than people doing short-priced bank builders and hopefully Punting For Fun can prove him wrong.
Both will start on Sunday with 20 points and if Punting For Fun has more points at the end of the month he will win £50 of betting vouchers – £25 from Lee and doubled by the site.
Rules are simple. Post any tip stating the odds at any price for any sport and how many points you want on it. Please put the start time for the match or the event. No inplay tips allowed Reasoning is welcome but not necessary.
Lee's single or accumulator must be a minimum 10-1 and Punting For Fun's can be as short as he wants but must be odds on.
Tips must be posted every day – if anyone misses out Lee will be deducted one point and Punting For Fun five points.
Sunday and also Monday's tips should be posted as a comment on this thread because I'm going away tomorrow night for a couple of days so won't update until Tuesday.

Right here goes with my attempt at building a bank from bets that look like they are well achievable.
Having done a little trial for markets that can provide odds on but near enuff the best odds on that the trial allows for my bank building (basically less than evens in total) i am going for 4 games at over 1.5 goals each game with a total price of 1.95 with Ladbrokes.

Good luck all, I cant afford to follow this one at the moment until i build me own bank up after following the last one.
David not really one i would bet or follow either as its just a bit of experimental fun.
If Lee hits 2 or 3 this month then the pressure will be on and even more if he hits them early into the month.
20 points will get you 20 days betting obviously at 1 point a day so i reckon there is a slight bias in that alone meaning i need to get a lift more often than not as Lee has 20 days of betting and he only has to get 1 or 2 up to put the pressure on.
This is why i would not follow myself especially unless its for small level stakes for a wee bit fun just bear in mind i need to get a winner regularly and make sure i can at least try and keep my bank healthy as Lee will have a minimum 20 days at 1 point a punt if he chooses to keep that stake for each bet.

Unlucky today Rod. Lee’s could still come in – so looking forward to seeing how those two games pan out. I did think with having an accum of 4 games for evens odds was risky. But stats would suggest the Anderlecht v Zulte Waregem game to have at least 3 goals! Bad luck
Could i suggest something – it’s something Im trying since Jan. Starting with £5 (5 points)and placing that amount on one bet a day at 1.2 (1/5 odds) and come 30 bets this would be £1000. Now an extra £1000 a month would do me nicely.

Yeah Legspin the Anderlecht game was a bit of a sickner a bit like the Porto game last week they threw everything at Zulte but to no avail and to make matters worse i got 4 games up with the corner before 9 mins @ 5/6 each but never chose to go with them.
Of the 3 Belgian games Anderlecht was the only game with no goals with the other two producing 6 and 5 goals :-(
The last 20 games that Anderlecht played at home in the pro league only 2 had less than 1.5 goals and i was sure this was one that would not let the bet down but as you say the more you have the more chance of a hiccup which was the case with Anderlecht today.

Well yesterday was a bit unlucky for me as the Anderlecht game could not provide the required goals and needless to say the corners before 9 mins what i had been looking at came in with all 4 games i picked doing the biz, but thats no good to anyone as i did not post them but just the irony of it for me.
Right not much to set the pulse racing today footy wise but having looked at 2 games closely Zamelek and Maccabi tel aviv look nailed on at home.
In Israel they are getting to the business end of the league and Maccabi top the table and will not want to slip up with Ironi breathing down there neck and Maccabi are pretty much reliable at home. (even tho they share the ground with todays opponents)
Zamalek are another team pretty much reliable at home and top there league and are playing Nasr who are 3rd from bottom with a woeful away record to boot even tho they have won 2 away games recently but these were against a team below them and another in 12th place.
So todays Bet is 10 points on Maccabi tel aviv and Zamalek to win @ 1.86 @ unibet
Punting For Fun, I’m happy to give you that win – unfortunately I couldn’t contact Lee and as you know I was away so I’m not going to take anything from his total for not putting up a bet.

At least i think it was posted before the 1st game kicked off as some sites i check have time zone differences so i hope it was posted before it started Nasr scored 1st so i dont think i would have picked Zamakek if knew the score at any time :-) but as i say if its an issue for Lee or MrF or admin or if it was posted after it started then just post a comment telling me.
