I TOLD you all about the big bets Coral had to pay out on Saturday and what about this one for a match result and both to score accumulator.

An anonymous electrician from Scarborough scooped £74,844 for £5 bet on a sixfold, helped by Oldham's comeback from 3-0 down to beat Peterborough 5-4.

The man in his 30s said: “I bet on football every week but this is the first time I have bet on this particular coupon. I was asleep on the sofa at home and when I woke up and I realised I just needed Oldham to score and I was on for a massive win of £62,370 pounds. When that goal went in I was in a state of shock.

“I went to the Coral shop and showed them my ticket to make sure the bet was a winner and they not only confirmed that I had won but there was a special 20 per cent win bonus on the coupon so my winnings were even bigger.”

When asked what he would do with the winnings the Coral customer said, “I haven’t a clue but I’m sure my girlfriend will help me spend it.”

Really do love these kinds of stories. As well as my ‘sensible’ betting I always put a lottery bet on. Its being able to apply score predictions for the chance to win big money.

Good for him, shame he was kipping because the manner of the Oldham result was quality stuff.

Dougie it’s now 3 nil and the Greizmann first goal has been credited as an OG

DON’T EVEN THINK IT WAS CORRECT SCORES.Probably Coral’s new weekend selection where you can either bet on btts with result or to win against nil. Coupon pays a bonus on the number of bets on the accumulator. I had a crack this weekend only for Juventus to let me down. Coupon is a bit of fun as it only includes Coral’s selection of matches.

Sorry maybe I explained myself badly. I realise it wasn’t correct scores, but the way I approach the market is avoiding games where I fancy a side to win to nil. Look for any score draws I fancy, or where I fancy a side to win comfortably, but also concede, a la Peterborough against Notts County, though that one backfired on the weekend.

    Anyway, good for him!

Watch the prices drop for this bet now. I did a fourfold bet on Sat all slight fav’s and BTTS. prices were 4-1 4-1 7-2 and 6-1 which was Palace at Wigan let me down for 6 grand…

you dont have to tell me Anton. Sampdorio the only team left in my 9 team accum were one nil up and conceded a peno in the final minute to destroy a potential collection of 3k

cooldude, I hope you’re feeling better. Employ the same stakes and don’t chase losses and you’ll be OK. In the Sampdoria case you had to cover that bet surely.
