FOLLOWING Liverpool's 1-1 draw at the Emirates last night Chelsea have the chance to move ahead of them with a win over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season (W12, D3 – all competitions) and welcome back the talismanic Eden Hazard who has recovered from a back injury.
The Belgian playmaker has been instrumental in Chelsea's terrific form this season, scoring eight goals and providing three assists. He'll be on the shortlist when the gongs are handed out at the end of the season once more and he should be on your shortlist for goalscorers today.
Palace also welcome back their key man, Wilfried Zaha, who missed their midweek defeat at Middlesbrough with a shoulder injury. Like Hazard, Zaha is top scorer for the Eagles but the fact he's only scored three and provided one assist demonstrates where the problems lie for Palace.
Roy Hodgson's men have only scored seven goals in their 10 games and have failed to score in five of those. But they will take heart from previous results against the Blues. Palace have won two of the last three meetings between the sides and won twice in their last three visits to Stamford Bridge, each time by two goals to one.
I can't see them springing a surprise today, however. Sarri's Chelsea look like they could push Man City and Liverpool all the way this season, especially if they can keep Hazard fit. They must win games like today's if they've any ambition of winning the league.

Another bet that intrigues me is in the Specials section at Bet365 where you can have 4/6 on Alvaro Morata having less than four shots at goal. Looking at the stats the Spaniard has registered 21 shots this season in nine appearances (three from the bench), which averages out at 2.33 per match so it looks a bet worth taking on. Keep an eye on the team news and if Morata starts on the bench then dive in.
