WHEN you trail Real Madrid 3-1 you need all your top guns available as you try to turn the tide.
Unfortunately PSG will be minus star turn Neymar and almost certainly support act Kylian Mbappe for tonight's attempt at a Champions League rescue mission.
The £360million strikers have contributed 42 goals this season and that's a lot of firepower to leave on the sidelines. Mbappe missed the 2-0 weekend win at Troyes with an ankle injury and while he was initially ruled out tonight there are reports he could make it and that would be a huge boost to the home men's hopes.
PSG still have Edinson Cavani, top scorer with 31, and Angel di Maria but it looks a tall order.
The French champs are 16-5 at boylesports to qualify and 21-20 with McBookie to win on the night. Real are a best 1-3 with McBookie to progress and that looks the shout.
Cavani will need to be at his sharpest if PSG are to have a chance and he is 10-3 at McBookie to score first and 5-6 at Paddy Power to bet while di Maria is 11-2 at Black Type.
Real should qualify if they net and are just 1-5 to hit the target while both to score pays 2-5 at betfair.
Unai Emery's men will have to go on the attack and over 2.5 match goals is likely but returns just 1-3 to consider over 3.5 at 6-7 with Unibet.
Tonight's other tie is basically a dead rubber with Liverpool 5-0 up after their first leg at Porto.
Jurgen Klopp will field a weakened team – but so will the Portuguese title chasers – and it could be a bit of a damp squib.
Liverpool should win again at 11-20 with McBookie and if he starts consider Adam Lallana to score first at 12-1 with bet365.
There are games in England and Scotland and I'll post tips at mrfixitstips.co.uk after I see what's beaten the weather.
- Cavani to score
- PSG v Real Madrid over 2.5 goals
- Lallana to score
