LIVERPOOL have one foot in the Champions League group stage after a superb win in Germany last week.
Hoffenheim went through the league season unbeaten at home but were outclassed by Jurgen Klopp's men.
The German sgrabbed a late consolation to only lose 2-1 and that gives them a glimmer of hope at Anfield tonight.
However, Liverpool are 1-8 at boylesports to finish the job and it's difficult to see them slipping up. In fact I'm backing them to increase their lead and they look value at 4-6 with McBookie to do so.
Hoffenheim are 9-2 at bet365 to win tonight and 8-1 with William Hill and McBookie to qualify.
We all know Liverpool are better in attack than at the back and there should be goals with Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah all likely to start although Philippe Coutinho isn't fit as his transfer wrangle continues.
Mane netted the only goal against Crystal Palace at the weekend and looks Klopp's best bet for a goal. He is 11-2 at bet365 to break the deadlock.
Firmino is up against his old side and is 23-20 at McBookie to net while ex-Roma ace Salah is 11-10.
Hoffenheim will have to chase the game and that should lead to goals. Over 2.5 pays just 8-15 so consider overs and Liverpool at 13-10 with BetStars.
Elsewhere tonight best bets could be CSKA Moscow to beat Young Boys after a 1-0 win in Switzerland. They are 5-6 at Betway.
Copenhagen lost 1-0 away to Qarabag but can edge a tight win at home and are 3-4 at McBookie.
Recommended Bets
- Liverpool & over 2.5 match goals
- Mane to score first
- CSKA Moscow
Bas Dost AGS 5/4
The first leg finished 0-0 but shouldn’t have and Dost is the biggest goal threat. He scored 2 in his last game and takes penalties so has every chance of bagging one here
I just took a look at Slavia-Apoel.
Slavia rest some players during the weekend and one of them is Rotan. I can see Slavia to score, even to win. For better value I will take Slavia to score 2+ and a correct score 2-0 for lower stake.
It would be Liverpool and BTTS then cant see REDS winning 3/4 -0.
