REAL MADRID are 10-3 favourites with Coral to defend the Champions League trophy they won back in May following the draw for the group stages.

Chelsea are the shortest price of the English teams at 7-1, while Liverpool are 28-1 to go all the way in their return to the group stages.

Coral's John Hill said: “The betting suggests it was a good draw for Arsenal and Chelsea as they are both favourites to win their groups while Manchester City have work to do as Bayern Munich are odds on to come out on top in their group.”

Most exciting draw for me is Liverpool v Real Madrid at Anfield. Would love to go as a neutral. My dad who is a massive Coventry City fan like myself used to go there a lot in his 20’s when he worked up there and said standing in the kop is an incredible experience

i remember standing in the kop regular, you had to be careful because the old boys would roll a newspaper up and wee right behind you!!

Athletico Madrid at evs to win group A looks a cracking bet to me. Yes they may have lost a few players but they are still a formidable outfit for anyone to face.
Of the other groups, I think the bookies have got it just about right except maybe group C where any of the 4 teams could go through and group H as I don’t think Porto are as strong as in the past and maybe Bilbao could take it.
So looking forward to it !!
