PUNTERS have been left fuming this afternoon following an outage on bet365, Ladbrokes and Coral's apps and desktop versions of their sites.

The My Bets section on Bet365, which allows you to see all your open bets, stopped working during today's 3pm kick-offs with some punters reporting they were experiencing issues as early as 3.20pm.

The black-out affected hundreds of thousands of bet365's customers who could not access any cash-out offers for their Saturday accas.

Bet365 responded to a flood of complaints after 4.00pm via twitter.

But for some who were waiting to cash-out their accas it was scant consolation.

Furious punters called for compensation but bet365 won't be taking take the hit by refunding customers who could have cashed out.

Their Cash Out Rules clearly state;

bet365 will not be responsible if the Cash Out feature is not available for technical reasons and bets will stand as originally placed during any such period.

Ladbrokes &

Coral customers were left in a similar position. Cash

-out was also suspended for some customers during the 3pm matches. They took a less pro-active approach to customer care, with neither tweeting any kind of acknowledgement of any issue (or tweeting about anything for that matter) from 4pm onwards. They did start to respond to individual customers with out-the-box responses.

It appears all three sites have been affected by an unfortunate technical issue which, as of 5.10pm remains unresolved.

Let me know if you've been affected in the comments section below.

In a queue for bet365 needed to cash out after Rotherham scored and just new they would concede.

Twitter has exploded I’ll let you know what they say so far been queuing for 31mins and change.

    Very sad ☹️

I don’t know the circumstances of your bet but remember cover is also an option.
Bookies don’t seem to realise how huge the cashout feature is now and they started it for their benefit.

I spoke to a nice lad that was in a hard situation after Twitter exploded again things happen in IT I get but in modern day bookmaking cash out feature is a pretty much expected.

I was on a fourfold as one of seven examples with Chelsea given as early payout 2 goals up, Leicester, Cove, and then Rotherham scored late something like 80th min I think when that I would have cashed out.

There are plenty of other bets I could moan about but I wouldn’t be honest or realistic.

They have to do something to genuine customers I only use bet365 there quick with scores than anyone else and I’ve dabbled with them all.

I’m awaiting a call back but I’m sad that I’ll probably move as my expectations of my bets being refunded or the cash out for the bet won’t be given.

Peeps on twitter that probably haven’t bet asking for a free fiver are not helping the issue.

Will see what happens and update this trail, again I think they’ll quote the t’s&c’s which they have a right to do but when they good old Ray Winstone on every 5mins during the game saying that you can cash out doesn’t help their message.

Who knows maybe they’ll do what I see is right but that is just my opinion.

Main problem here is they don’t know for sure if or when people were cashing out.
In an ideal world you would let your bet run away and hope it wins.
If they compensate anyone they are duty bound to compensate all and that could be extremely costly.
I wouldn’t dump them over this because it does and can happen to any bookie – I could count on both hands the number of times I’ve been denied a cashout this season.

So I had a call with Bet365 this morning as an escalation there official stance is that they will not be refunding or compensating.

Everyone has been polite and understanding but it still leaves me feeling disappointed, been a customer for ten years and I’m guessing as a business decision their taking a firm stance and sticking to their t’s and c’s

Again I get it as not everyone is honest and how can you prove a cash out you can’t.

But my time will end with them it’s shame loved their app but can’t get the taste out of my mouth especially when cash out is a modern day expectation.

    I was affected big style.

Was just requiring a 2nd palace goal for a 600 plus return…..Cash out would have been high as villa were down to ten.

Worst customer service ever by bet 365 and will be closing my account as soon as I can cash out open bets.

Just to add my complaint was esculated but got phone call and then e mail to say tough but that’s how it is.

Never again with any of these 3 time to find a new site

When I was asked what it was I wanted I said at least a gesture that reflected the amount of money involved at best the full cash out which by my estimation would have been around 480.

They said our gesture is to fix your general issue ie their systems issue.

I hope they suffer terrible publicity for this, will they care….no.

I’ve ran a profitable account with them for around 3 years now so maybe that dosent help but it really is an appalling situation and you couldn’t mark their necks with a blow torch and a branding iron.

As they say…..when the fun stops…..close your account.

Mr Fixit, far too generous to bet 365.

I’ve dumped them as I’m very bitter by their failure, their sniggering customer services and off handed way they treat a customer who has over 30k of bets with them in a year.

An absolute disgrace imho but we all see it differently.

    • Mr Fixit 5 years ago

I’m no being generous to anyone – just trying to look at it objectively.
I’ve lost hundreds, maybe thousands, from not being able to cash out.
But if it’s genuinely down to a tech problem then I have to accept that.

  9. george the dee 5 years ago

Well sorry sir but I think you are so we will have to disagree.

You have to accept it, I closed my account.

    We all see it differently.

    • Mr Fixit 5 years ago

At the end of the day closing your account is what will harm them most so good luck with whoever you bet with in future.
