THE first win and both teams to score team effort didn't land a winner although seven of the eight teams featured scored.
Birmingham were the only ones not to net but all of the other three picks – West Ham, Ipswich and Ayr – all drew.
I placed trebles and a fourfold with half of the winnings of almost £500 due to a contributor.
There were plenty of suggestions that won including Basel, Red Bull Salzburg, PSG and Stoke. My shortlist included Arsenal, Colchester and St Johnstone so we could have done it.
I'll do the experiment again next weekend and put up my own shortlist. If you have any of your own add them as a comment and if the line comes up one person will win half.
