ONE of those most popular bets these days is both teams to score and win. Every day we have debates about the types of markets to do, what's best for making profit, etc – and all the best advice about concentrating in singles goes against taking btts and match result.
Average odds for a treble are about 50-1 but this is because it's not a treble. You need three outcomes in every match – a team to score, the other team to score at least two and the WDW part. In reality a treble is 27 bets which is why the odds look so good on paper.
As long as punters understand this and realise it's difficult to land a treble there's no problem tackling this market for low stakes – I'd suggest 0.1pts per line.
I'm often asked for tips and now and again put them up with varying degrees of success.
Starting this weekend I'm going to put up a fourfold (with trebles advised) and it will be a team effort. I asked for nominations and got plenty and I also put up a shortlist on Thursday.
So from my shortlist and suggestions I've put together a line that hopefully gives us a chance.
I'll place the line for £1 unit stakes and someone who has contributed to the thread with a tip will collect half the winnings. In fact to make it easier to share I'm planning to place 2 x £2.50 bets in a shop and if there is a return I'll simply post one of the slips out to the lucky punter.
William Hill online pay 238-1 for the fourfold. I've placed it in one of their shops and half the return on the fourfold is £247.17 – if we get one treble I'll need to work it out.
Mr Fixit's btts & win team effort
WEST HAM v Norwich (10-3)
BIRMINGHAM v Rotherham (16-5)
IPSWICH v Bristol City (11-4)
AYR v Peterhead (13-5)
Perm any 3 and all 4 (5 bets)
Pays £496.34 to £1 unit stakes at William Hill
Loving this. It’s the best way to find a nice bit of value. I’m a gooner but think Leicester are a good shout Saturday
Brilliant my favourite bet.Have a small stakebon Burnley win btts tonight.
I tend to try 3 on a Saturday .Not an easy bet but its worth a quid..Normally worth a hundred quid with a few 5/1shots.Swansea win v hull &BTS.Aston villa Win v Birmingham &bts thats2i fancy tmrw
I usually bet on this market, normally i bet a trixie and so far i’m having really good profit this season… My 3 favourites are Dortmund, Dresden(german 3 league) and Innsbruck(Austrian 2 league)… Last weekend only Leverkusen failed to score and i had a lucky goal from desden at 92min, which provide me a tidy profit :D
If i were you i would follow this 3 teams ;)
Great idea, westham are great for scoring and conceding. Westham v norwich btts westham win
I suggest forest green to win against Gateshead on Saturday btts, forest green top of the league but still leaking goals but winning and Gateshead scoring a few aswell
I don’t really like this market, I much prefer BTTS Doubles.
However the championship has seen lots of BTTS matches this season and I like the look of Ipswich to beat Bristol City and BTTS.
Hopefully this is not the selection which let’s the 4fold down!! :-o
Saturday I like Sheffutd Win&BTS against Doncaster.
Sunday
Besiktas -Fenerbahce btts and over
Great idea my fav fun bet, I’ll put up my s
hort/ long list in the week. Last weekend got a Trixie and a double on my other Trixie.I’ve posted a few winners on here before cov Bristol city Swindon were all regulars last season. like you say small stakes big rewards but only along side a steady staking plan.
pompey to win and btts at Bristol rovers on Saturday. iv had this up a few times this season. pompey always seem to concede but are capable of beating any team this season from what iv seen
I like the look of these two on saturday, man city win btts and west ham win btts, like this type of bet, good returns for small stake.
Hello , here’s my contribution to the team effort , which I think I’ll back as a 50p patent unless anyone can warn me off (thoughts definitely welcome as these bets rely on a few factors to land) … Btts and win , Gateshead , Torquay and Wrexham , odds 100/30 , 11/4 and 7/2… Cheers and good luck
Guys, thanks for all the suggestions – every one of you will have a chance of winning if we can pick a winner.
I’ll go through them all on Thursday or Friday and pick a fourfold.
These markets are obviously hard to land but with experience I think the best leagues for these are the Eastern European. Not often you see games when both don’t score. Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The MLS league in America can be good for this but teams are quite inconsistent due to the long travel.
Man I love you for this giving good tips . now i know what to avoid
Mine were for tomorrow night btw , I’ll get back with 3 for the weekend
Having only come across this site fairly recently I have to say, I thoroughly enjoy the nature of what this site seems to be about.
Mr Fixit Has a fun shorthand writing style which is an entertaining read along with logical reasoning behind his picks. No wonder you guys have built a loyal community.
Gregs picks, are at times, a little on the unknown side but his win rate is crazy.
I also like the markets which are discussed on here. Most of which already fit my own personal preferences – probably another reason the site seems to resonate with me.
My BTTS and result recommendation is Leicester v Arsenal. Arsenal win (just).
Goals seem hard to come by with the North London outfit at the moment but you often sense Arsene has a way of galvanising his team in dark times and with the pressure on, the result certainly matters more to Arsenal than Leicester. You can never write off the Gunners scoring a goal against anyone with their attacking prowess.
Leicester have been a breathe of fresh air and look dynamic in their transitional play from defence to attack. Never mind that they’ve scored 8 goals in 5 games (4 at home).
The stats also highlight Leicester have conceded 5 at home this season whilst Arsenal boast 67% win rate away from home.
The game on the face of it seems poised for goals.
This is a tight call which I appreciate. Do let me know your thoughts.
Cizza, cheers. Should be goals for sure at Leicester but picking a winner isn’t easy.
I do one every weekend, £10 treble, the returns are usually £800-£1200 so one a season and you’re in, I approach it from one of two ways depending on what the games are, one way is of course looking at who is tipped for BTTS and then choosing the side you think is most likely, the other is simply choosing teams who are very likely to win and you just hope that they concede on the day and to be honest I find the latter has been more successful as you tend to see teams cruising with a cushioned lead at 85 mins conceding last minute consellation goals from sloppiness at the back, really not easy to predict at all but they definetly produce the most drama so I always like to back them, looking forward to seeing how others choose their selections and with a concentrated effort and help from everyone else I think that we could pull off a couple this season!
The best to keep an eye on with Btts/win are: Dortmund, Salzburg, Basel and Wolfsburg. Just play them every week with all the possible lines! The money Will come in for sure :)
Mr F
So say you get 100 odd tips from us, how will you decide what bets to put on? and if there are duplicates etc
AaronT, I have to be convinced by reasoning – duplicates would help.
I’m also going to have a shortlist of about 10 so any of those that are picked could go in.
It’s a bit of fun really but you never know – it might produce a winner.
Dunfermline v Aidrie for me this weekend my banker MrF
Should be a few tomorrow too wi teams resting players, Birmingham could be a decent value bet plus West Ham away to Leicester, add in the Perth Saints at Ibrox for a 419/1 shot @Skybet. Not even looked at the wknd games but I’ll be trying a couple 50p 4folds Arsenal, Aberdeen on Wednesday
Middlesbrough win&btts vs Leeds
Mr f are ur picks only going to be restricted to england and Scotland.
Niccolo M, no but let’s not make it too obscure so we can get the prices from plenty of firms.
Fleetwood win & btts v port vale 4/1
MK DONS V DERBY
DERBY WIN & BTTS
Crazy….But…
Spurs & City, I will be there to witness it (if it happens)
I Fancy 2 in this market on wed and have them in 2 singles and a double at 14/1
GRASSHOPPERS v Sion 3/1
Young Boys v BASEL 11/4
Sion and Young Boys are decent outfits in their own rights but I fancy free scoring Grasshoppers and Basel too out score them
Sheff Wed, Gillingham, Carlisle and Wrexham…can you send my share of the winnings in dollars MrF??? Lol ;)
This is a bet I do regularly every Saturday as a £10 treble. Last season it came in 3 times with winnings of £3650 in total. I always look at teams with odds from 10/3 to 5/1 which usually gives you a treble of between 100/1 and 150/1.
No winners so far this season but came close on Sunday with Aberdeen, United and Liverpool who I am sure bust many a coupon. This treble was 112/1. Perhaps I should cover the doubles as it is the 3rd consecutive week I have managed 2/3 but I like to go for the big winner with this bet.
A friend of mine won just over £22,000 for a £3 6 fold last season!!
Oxford win v Morcombe BTTS
£2.50 Trixie (Total Stake £10)
Eastleigh Win BTTS v Dover
Torquay Win BTTS v Boreham Wood
Guiseley Win BTTS v Southport
75/1
At 75/1 it’s definitely not a tip, just a bet I have had for a bit of interest for tonight’s non-league games.
My local team Peterhead are away to table toppers Ayr this Saturday and this is a fixture where there should be goals. Last 2 h2h this yeat at Ayr were 2-4 and 3-3. Last 5 homes were 5-2, 2-2, 0-2 (Rangers), 2-1 and 2-0. Last 5 Phd aways 2-2, 1-0, 3-5, 0-4 and 3-0(Rangers). With Rory Mcallister in the team Phd are always capable of getting a goal.
Ayr to win +btts is 5/2 @Bet365
I’m also going to be on Ayr to win and O2.5 which is 17/10 @Boyles
GL if you fancy it.
John, totally agree and Ayr looking good at the moment.
Looking forward to the up and running of this post.
A bet I do every weekend – stick to 3 though and had success after doing 4 every week and having none!!!!
Celtic at home to Hearts @ 19/10
Ayr at home to Peterhead @ 12/5
Derby away to MK Dons @ 16/5
straight treble £5 for £207.06
Hi Mr Fixit
2 trixies for this week on wed one sat.
Wed Dortmund, Napoli, Barcelona
Sat Basel, wolfsburg, Red Bull Salzburg.
All to win btts.
Will be doing Basel, Wolfsburg and Salzburg every week for 3 quid a time. Bound to get a return sometime.
Just noticed Chesters post. Thats the plan. Going to do them every week.
Hull vs Blackburn btts hull win
Blackburn absolutely terrible at the moment but with Jordan Rhodes in a bit of form they don’t seem to have trouble scoring. They couldn’t keep weans out a close at the back tho. Hull havnt kept many clean sheets either.
Malaga v Villarreal Wed 23rd @ 21.00
Recommendation – BTTS and Villarreal to win @ 5/1
All Villarreal’s league games this season have seen BTTS come in (1-1, 3-1, 1-3, 3-1). They are also in good form winning there last three games.
So a 1-1 draw followed by three 3-1 wins.
Playing second bottom off the league Malaga who are not exactly free scoring as they are goal less so far, however going with the thinking they must be due a goal and they have home advantage and the fact Villarreal have conceded every game this season so far and won their last three 3-1 it seems a fair bet.
This is a bet i enjoy and have had reasonable success with,
I particularly like doing the Vanarama conference premier.
Tonight i`m going for
Gateshead win BTTS
Torquay win BTTS
Guiseley win BTTS
Treble is 66/1 with sky bet
excellent idea mrF
MK Dons vs Derby – DRAW & BTTS.

Just seen 2 of those are Jordan’s not a bad thing I spose, I know its not his usual betting style but he knows his stuff.
I blog this on my Facebook page every saturday. It took 22 attempts last season to click it (£5 trebs) but gave us a £900 profit overall. 7 attempts this season without any luck although we have been desperately close. My challenge is turning a £5 note into over a thousand pound plus. At the odds we do you only have to get it up once in 180 attempts to make a profit. Have noticed the bookies have slashed the odds that you were getting off them a few seasons ago for these bets! You can also get a good cash out roi if placing them on line with say betfair. I like to throw a Sunday game in which allows you to lay the bet off if you have had 2 of your selections up the previous day.
I love a win btts, I always do a bit of research to. Teams that are doing it or are involved in are Ipswich which is why I think tonight will be a good shout, they play United who have been in a win btts in there last 5 either winning or loosing and I think United will win. Saying that to play it safe go for over 2.5 and btts. Looking at the games over the weekend I can see stoke getting a win but with their shaky defence I can see them conceding. Also Wigan. But teams to look out for this season are Ipswich, man utd, crystal Palace, Portsmouth, odd, aik and torino.
Liverpool win (verses Villa) BTTS 11/5 PP.
You know it makes sense!!!! ;)
This is a bet I do every week for the last 2 seasons I have won at least once a month but I only back massive favs and just hope they concede normally stick to trebles at £10 stakes normally get between 25 and 30/1 would really appreciate some insight into lower league stats and form looking forward to this forum

Sunday games in Serie A for win and btts.
Serie A seeing plenty of goals and 2 teams who’ve been winning and conceding are AC Milan and Sassuolo.
Genoa v AC Milan – Milan win btts 4/1 @ bet365
Sassuolo v Chievo – Sassuolo win btts 9/2 @ bet365
Wednesday’s game:
Barcelona and BTTS (7/4)
Real Madrid and BTTS (9/4)
Borussia Dortmund and BTTS (7/5)
Treble is > 20/1 at Bet365 and looks very good!
Kieron I like the United game for BTTS and Win (I’m a United fan) Just fancied a few others more. I find a good stats site for BTTS is Adam Choi.
Michael here’s hoping. I’ve done them in the past and the occasional single but for a £4 trixie it can’t be too bad.
Tamd, went for same treble but added FC Basel as well. ;)
68/1
Hard bet to get up but very profitable if you do.
Carlisle 3/1 on Saturday against Newport.
Might try the European treble that many are on about.
GL all.
Saturday 26 sept 2015
st johnstone v dundee utd

Thought I’d test out a BTTS & Win for a .4 point trixie with the talk on the new thread the other day.
Norrkoping – Sweden – 6:00PM
Dortmund – Germany – 7:00PM
Bordeaux – France – 6:00PM
0.4 to potentially return 10.27 @ 365 **LOSE**
All 6 scored, only one result with Norrkoping
Facts for Saturdays games
In Brentfords last 13 home championship games have been over 2 .5 goals
6 of 7 Leeds away championship games have been over 2.5 goals
Scunthorpe have conceded at least 2 goals in last 13 championship away games
Over 2.5 goals in Colchester last 6 away championship games
This hope it’s as simple as it seems
Come Saturday
Game on
I’m going to go with Forest Green Rovers btts, both them and Gateshead score plenty and I’m backing them at 3/1 at bet365 to get back to winning ways.
Midweek Forest Green drew with 2nd placed Cheltenham and Gateshead only drew with 2nd bottom Halifax.
Ok blow a rasberry
BLACKBURN 7/1 btts win v hull
Fairly young squad. Improving each sat . Ok i only see them on t.v .up front jordan Rhodes second in the betting for top goal scorer in championship
if he hits a bit of form 7/1 looks big.
W.ham stoke .b burn liverpool .
yup, loads of good suggestions – I look forward to going through them on Friday and picking 3 or 4.
Gents,
MAN CITY win and btts for saturday against totenham. They got the run around by Arsenal last night and have now got 12:45 kick off against Man city saturday.
I’d offer up Stormsgodset but they are a little low at 8/5. Here’s 3 no one has mentioned yet.
Waasland-Beveren v GENT
Gent have 4 draws from 4 away games this season and have been pretty average so far this season. A 4-1 win against Standard Liege last time out was their best win so far and this is a fixture they’ve won the last 5 times it has been played. Waasland have seen BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals in all but one fixture this season and have lost their last 2 league games 5-1. Should hopefully be goals and hopefully be a Gent win.
MECHELEN v Sporting Charleloi
Mechelen are normally strong at home and had won 9 in a row before a 2-2 draw against Westerlo last time out. They have scored twice in every home game so far and have conceded in every every game. Charleloi haven’t been blessed with goalfests yet this season but against Mechelen we should see a few.
LILLESTROM v Mjondalen
Lillestrom have won 6 out of 12 home games having already played the entirety of the top half of the table. Mjondalen are without a win away from home, losing 6 and drawing 5. They’ve scored in 8/11 away games and Lillestrom have only kept 2 home clean sheets so will hopefully score. Lillestrom should have too much for them though.
I like Ipswich at home to Bristol City
I like the look of Birmingham at home too Rotherham @3/1
PSV @ 15/8 – Eredivise
Basel @ 11/8 – Swiss Super League
Stromgodset @ 8/5 – Norwegian Tippeligaen
0.4 of a point to return 3.82 @ Boyles
Not the best prices but that’s obviously because they have a good chance.
That”s a trixie by the way.

CLYDE WIN BTTS
IVE PUT £1 7 FOLD TO WIN £8,385.02 AT CORAL
AND IVE PUT A £0.05P SUPER HEINZ TO WIN £2,336.36 AT CORAL.
Arsenal have got to be in with a shout, Leicester are great at home and have scored 10 goals in their first 4 home games, all have seen BTTS and 3 of the 4 have seen BTTS & Over 2.5.
BTTS looked nailed on to me as i cant see either team keeping a clean sheet, Leicester have conceded 6 goals in their first 4 home games and Arsenals class should get them the win, 3-1 possibly.
The national league is the place for goals, I fancy these to be btts and win in that league:
Lincoln
Bromley
Welling
Forest green
I also fancy Birmingham and Ayr who you got on your shortlist Mr f
Shrewsbury Ipswich Colchester is my Trixie for Saturday. I’m sure I’ll knock another one up from the selections on here. Personally I find Fridays and Sundays easier for this bet as high scoring leagues playing. Gl all and let’s hope we get 4 from 4 on Mr fs choices.
Having a look at the games as per usual I take a treble for £10, I agree with Mr F and will be on
WEST HAM v Norwich
Leicester V ARSENAL
BURY v Coventry
OR
BIRMINGHAM v Rotherham
Can’t decide between the latter 2 I have a feeling Bury will win v Coventry but it could very easily be a draw, anyone know which would be considered the “safer” bet of the two?
Can’t decide between the latter
I agree with hector,,Ipswich to win&Btts against Bristol city.
My yankee
Forest Green
Carlisle
Derby
Grimsby
I’ll also add Raith Rovers at home to Dumbarton. Since they’ve both been in the championship, all 12 games have seen BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals. Raith have won 4 of the last 5 between the sides at home and their home games are normally pretty good for goals.
I will have a go on the 4 tips and add my own tip which was DUNFERMLINE v Aidrie in 20 Trebles 15 Fourfolds 1 Acc @ 20p units total stake 7.20
Got 30 on the just over 6500

Plus I was behind the goal where we had that great 2nd half, all those followers thought city were nailed on for this.
