IT looks like a battle between Chelsea and Man United for the title as the EPL resumes today.

Pretenders to the throne include Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City but it's the teams with the best bosses in Carlo Ancelotti and Alex Ferguson who should be fighting it out again.

Not too much should be read into last week's Community Shield but United will take heart from a rare victory over the Blues.

And in Mexican World Cup star Javier Hernandez they have a new signing who could make a major impact.

Chelsea have been quiet on the transfer front but will have Michael Essien fit and raring to go.

I get the feeling the Stamford Bridge side have peaked an with Michael Cech struggling with injury, John Terry looking unsteady and Ashley unsettled their defence could cost them.

Chelsea are the title favourites at 7-4 with Paddy Power and Ladbrokes but I'm on United at 12-5 with the same two firms.

Man City and Arsenal are both 7s with Ladbrokes while Roy Hodgson's Liverpool are way out at 16-1.

If Hodgson does as well as he did at Fulham and makes the Reds really harrd to beat they should at least clinch a top-four slot. They are 7-4 with bodog to do so.

Spurs are 11-4 with bodog to match last season's achievement and we'll get an early indication on how the teams fare when they meet at White Hart Lane today in a cracking opener.

Chelsea should beat West Brom by more than one and United, traditionally slow starters, can take care of Newcastle in the Monday night game at Old Trafford.

It's interesting to see what punters are thinking and here's where the money has gone with Paddy Power on the big markets.
