THE Premiership's been noted for its goals in recent weeks – but they could be in short supply at St Andrews tonight.

Birmingham have netted 13 in 13 home games and visitors Newcastle just one on their last five trips.

The stats suggest a low scorer and under 2.5 goals pays 4-5 at Paddy Power.

Alex McLeish's men have also conceded 13 – so could it be 14 for, 14 against from 14 games. A 1-1 draw pays 6-1 with various firms.

Newcastle haven't replaced Andy Carroll and are without Shola Ameobi so there is no obvious first scorer pick from them.

On the other hand Nikola Zigic has been prolific with three in three games. The big Serb is 13-2 with Betfred to bag the opener.

Recommendation:

  • Under 2.5 goals (4-5, Paddy Power)
