THERE have been goals galore in the SPL but they could be at a premium tonight.
Man City take on Liverpool in the Premier League and it could be a case of the sides cancelling each other. Both games finished in draws last season and five of the last seven have been stalemates.
Three of those have been 0-0s so historically recent games have been devoid of goalmouth action. Last week City drew 0-0 at Spurs and Liverpool held Arsenal 1-1 with 10 men so we haven't seen the fireworks the likes of Chelsea and even Newcastle produced at the weekend.
Roy Hodgson isn't likely to be going for it either with two holding midfielders deployed in the shape of Christian Poulsen and Javie Mascherano and that's not counting Lucas if he starts.
City have a bit more about them going forward but the likes of David Silva, James Milner and Mario Balotelli are still setting in.
So it's a draw for me at a best 9-4 with Ladbrokes. City are 6-4 with Bet365 and McBookie.com and Blue Square with Liverpool a biggest 2-1 at bodog and McBookie.com.
Under 2.5 goals pays 8-13 with bodog while under 1.5 is 2-1 with bodog and William Hill.
If there's a goal the most likely scorer is Carlos Tevez at 6-1 with 888sport but no scorer at 15-2 with Blue Square is a possibility if you fancy a 90-minute sweat.
