THE Scottish Cup Final takes centre stage this weekend but it’s all about the League Cup in midweek.
The four quarter-finals take place over the next two days and the pick of tonight’s action is St Johnstone’s trip to Dunfermline.
The Pars let me down at the weekend against managerless Morton but that was their first defeat of the season and they will fancy their chances at home to Saints.
Stevie Crawford’s men are 9/5 with McBookie and St Johnstone 11/8 but it’s a tough one to call.
So I’m going for both teams to score at 5/6 as Dunfermline have only drawn one blank all season.
Declan McManus has scored in his last two games and takes pens so appeals at 13/8 for anytime scorer.
Alloa knocked Hearts out in the last round but are 6/1 outsiders with McBookie to complete a capital double by dumping Hibs.
The Hibees justified my faith in them at the weekend by thrashing Hamilton and I fancy another win to nil here at 6/4 with McBookie.
The plastic pitch could make it a tight game so under 2.5 goals also appeals at 29/20.
There are also two games tonight in England’s top flight.
Wolves were poor against Villa at the weekend so I fancy Chelsea to win at Molineux, which is 7/10 at Betfred. Doubling it with over 2.5 Man City goals at home to West Brom pays 155/100.
Super Single
- Hibs win to nil (6/4, McBookie).
Deadly Double
- Chelsea, Over 2.5 Man City goals (155/100, Betfred)
McBookie Star Bet
- Over 2.5 goals has come up on Chelsea’s last two trips to Wolves and pays 20/21.
