AFTER a no-bet day on Monday we have an action-packed Tuesday to look forward to with 12 Betfred Cup group games, UCL qualifiers and a ton of friendlies.

It's the Scottish games I'll be focusing on, nothing flash here, I've picked out a goals double and I'd be really surprised if this didn't land. Still early days and difficult to gauge but sticking with the favourites tonight looks the way to go.

Stenhousemuir vs Dundee United (7.30pm)

Robbie Neilson's Dundee United side kicked off their Betfred cup campaign on Friday and collected and well earned point with a 1-1 draw and it only took a dew minutes for new Striker Lawerence Shankland to find the net after his summer move from Ayr.

They have a strong side and have more than enough quality to see off League 2 part timers Stenny

Brechin vs Ross County (7.45pm)

It was a great start for County at the weekend as they cruised to a 4-1 against League One Montrose in Dingwall and they play another Angus side in the form of relegated Brechin who are now in League Two after successive relegations

They should be a huge gulf in quality between these two sides in a match County should win comfortably

Recommended Bet:

  • Dundee United over 1.5 team goals
  • Brechin vs Ross County over 2.5 goals
  • 11/10 (Bet365) (NAP)

Best of the rest:

  • St Johnstone to beat Montrose
  • Peterhead v ICT over 2.5 goals
  • Falkirk v Stranraer over 2. goals
  • Treble pays 2/1 (Bet3650

    Greg,

Over 49 goals across all the cup games is 4/1, do you think that has a chance?

11 games so some would need a fair few goals in them but you never know.

Would need to be a lot bigger than 4/1

Too many games that are finely balanced and hard to call

I’d be shocked if there was anything near 40 goals let alone 49

Carrick Rangers -2 v Lisburn Distillery at 17/10 looks a cracking bet for me in this friendly game.About four league’s apart.

    Greg,

What’s happened to Bet365 and goals in running?

You can’t back a specific teams goals in play, Hibs on Sat (saved me a losing bet) and today Dundee Utd & Ross County. 🤔

St Johnstone have hardly had a shot at goal.

Not at the game mate but Montrose the better side in the first half. Would leave it alone

      Dundee United 2-0 up 👍🏼

Too late , I’m already on. Thanks man. You’d like to think you lot would have enough to over power Montrose in the second half
