BANK holiday Monday presents us with a massive card and there are some really tricky fixtures to suss out in England with quite a few clubs with nothing to play for.

Thankfully there are plenty of clubs with something to play for with promotion and relegation still to be settled in all of the English leagues. It will be those games I'll be focusing on rather than those who are already on their summer holidays.

Before the English 3pm KOs we have a full card in the Dutch Eerste Divisie which I'm delighted about. Sky Bet now have this showing after contacting them to request the Dutch specials and the Norwegian specials

Once the English games are done and dusted its over to Norway  with 12 games kicking off at 5pm and it's a league I'll be concentrating on every week. Bodo/Glimt were my NAP last Sunday and they have started the season on fire.

To finish things off there's seven matches in Serie B at 8pm and all 7 over 1.5 goals pays a nice 6-1.

I've now had a good look through the English games and  could have easily posted 6 or 7 matches for goals. I'm going to stick with the Bodo /Glimt match for the NAP which I think has a great chance of landing.

Bodo/Glimt vs Sarpborg (5pm)

What a start to the season it's been for Bodo/Glimt. After three games they find themselves top of the league with maximum points after 2-0, 4-5 and 3-2 victories.

Not only have they scored 10 goals, it's the quality of the opposition they have put to the sword. They beat both Rosenborg and Molde who are arguably Norway's two best teams and I fancy their chances to continue their winning start to the season.

They only won 6 games last season and already halfway to beating that total after just 3 games which is some turnaround.

They welcome a Sarpsborg side who are also undefeated with two draws and a win and have found the net in all three games.

Eight of the last 10 meetings between the sides have seen over 2.5 goals and given Bodo/Glimt impressive start to the season, we should see another entertaining game. Despite scoring 10 goals, the hosts have also shipped 6 goals in their opening three games and that bodes well for both sides finding the net.

Recommended Bet

  • Bodo/Glimt vs Sarpsborg (5pm)
  • Over 2.5 match goals 9/10 (Marathonbet) (NAP)
  • All twelve 5pm Norwegian games over o.5 first half goals and over 1.5 match goals

Dutch Eerste Divisie  (1.30pm – 10 matches)

We have a full card today and after Friday's 37-goal haul from the 9 matches that were played, there's every chance we'll see another high scoring set of fixtures today.

I was on this a few weeks ago and it didn't disappoint with all matches ending over 1.5 goals, 38 total goals and we were one goal away from a 60-1 over 2.5 goal winner.

We all know how good this league is for goals and as I often say, at least 3 or 4 of these games will see 4 and 5+ goals which gives the total match goals markets a great chance in my opinion.

Recommended Bets

  • All 10 matches over 1.5 goals
  • 33/10 (Ladbrokes)
  • 31+ total goals
  • 11/10 (Sky Bet)

English over 2.5 goals bets:

It's a great looking card for goals in England today, the only problem is been trying to narrow down the shortlist.

I've had a good look through the card and have identified the following games to back for over 2.5 goals

  • Derby vs QPR
  • Rotherham vs Birmingham
  • Peterborough vs Sunderland
  • Plymouth vs Barnsley
  • Macclesfield vs  Newport
  • Ebsfleet vs Dover

Couldn't decide on how to approach this so going for  two over 2.5 goals treble

  • Peterborough vs Sunderland
  • Plymouth vs Barnsley
  • Ebsfleet vs Dover
  • (5-1, bet365)
  • Derby vs QPR
  • Rotherham vs Birmingham
  • Macclesfield vs  Newport
  • (53-10, Marathonbet)

All 6 games pays 35-1

Serie B – 8pm (7 matches)

Business end of the season in Italy and worth backing over 1.5 goals in all 7 matches at a generous 6/1.

  • All 7 matches over 1.5 goals
  • 6/1 (Bet365)

    Ur prediction

    • jambo123 5 years ago

Greg fancies 6 matches to go over 2.5 goals, a 6 fold is risky so he’s split it into 2 trebles, if 1 of them come up then your in profit.

Your prediction looks perfect and fix things

      It’s simple – over 2.5 match goals.

Hi Greg, I’ve noticed on the Sky specials for the Dutch matches it corresponds to 9 matches. The Telstar-Roda match missing. Do you think this is a
fly move from Skybet and may make a difference to your 31+ bet? Any thoughts appreciated
    Cheers

It’s a really good spot mate – Skybet aren’t daft and are trying to squeeze out any potential value

      Still think it’s worth doing

38 goals on Friday night with 9 games
