IT’S another difficult weekend for betting in the Scottish Football Leagues but once again our man Joe Wallace has been on the case in the hunt for a winning treble.
After Dumbarton denied us a decent pay day last weekend with a late in a 3-3 draw at Brechin let’s see if we can go one better.
We start in the Irn-Bru Third Division and focus on Annan’s home clash with Clyde. Despite the season being only a matter of weeks old the Galabank men have started their campaign positively winning their last four games.
Clyde had started off well but a 4-0 thrashing to Motherwell in midweek will surely have an effect on their morale. Go for the points to be staying at Galabank at 10-11 with William Hill.
We stay in the Third Division and switch the attention to Stranraer’s tricky trip to face Montrose. After a difficult start to the new season Keith Knox’s men picked up their first three points with a hard-fought 2-1 win at home to Berwick.
The Blues have since strengthened their squad and are looking to go on a winning run. They face a Montrose side who have only won once in their last six matches so I am taking the Stair Park men to scrape this one at 6-4, widely available.
We complete this week’s treble in the Third Division and Elgin’s home encounter with East Stirling. Elgin are another side who have not enjoyed the best of starts to their season but last week’s 2-0 triumph at home to Queen’s Park should fill them with confidence against a Shire outfit who have lost four of their five matches.
Go for the points to stay at Borough Briggs at 8-11 with Coral.
