Tonight, Reebok Stadium, 7.45pm, live on Sky Sports 1

BOLTON took three scoreless halves to find their feet in the Championship – but finally produced the goods in the second half against Derby in midweek.

Owen Coyle badly needed that result after opening with a 2-0 defeat at Burnley and he was at risk of losing the support.

Bolton are back at home tonight and should continue their improvement with a home win against Forest who have started quite well with a win and a draw.

Forest, however, finished 19th last season and don't look promotion contenders while Bolton want back uo at the first attempt.

Bolton are a best 21-20 at BetVictor and first scorer take a look at new boy Marvin Sordell who is 13-2 at BetVictor to grab the opener.

I think the same paul I think Bolton should win this one. What’s your thoughts on Lyons chances tonight??

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

David, I haven’t looked at it really. Too busy doing the weekend tips. All I’d say is Lyon have started well and Evian haven’t. Evian was quite a tough place to go last season but I think teams will have sized them up now.

What do you think of Kevin Davies to score anytime?
2/1 at Paddy Power and Coral

James, when picking a first scorer I always have a shortlist of three or four. This time I’ve gone for Sordell but Davies has as much chance as anyone.

    Bolton/Lyon double for me tonight.
Anyone think Newcastle at 9/2 is a great value single at the weekend? I’ve been really unconvinced by Chelsea in their first two games. They are really shaky at the back.

Robbie, it’s my btts line for sure. Newcastle unbeaten on last four trips to Stamford Bridge including a 4-3 cup win and 2-0 win in the league last season. They must have a chance but I’m thinking draw.

They are now out to 11/2, or 7/2 draw no bet. With Terry a doubt I’ll definitely take one of the two bets.
