IT looks like an extremely tough weekend for predictions in the Scottish Football Leagues – but as always our man Joe Wallace has been on the case in the hunt for a winning treble.

We kick off in the Irn-Bru Second Division and focus on Brechin's home clash with Dumbarton.

Despite a disappointing 3-1 defeat at Cowdenbeath last weekend I reckon they will be too strong for a Sons side who have lost their last four games and were on the wrong end of a 5-1 thrashing at home to Stirling last weekend. Brechin are 4-6 with Ladbrokes.

I'm moving on to the Third Division and Clyde's match at home to Montrose. The Bully Wee have started really well and look good promotion prospects now that Jim Duffy has them organised at the back.

Montrose lie just a point behind their rivals but I reckon Clyde will be too good at a biggest 1-1 with bet365.

I'm staying in the Third Division for the clash between East Stirling and Peterhead. The Highlanders haven't lived up to their billing as pre-season favourites but have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks.

Peterhead are maybe relying too much on star striker Rory McAllister but he can hit the target and help them to a valuable away win. Peterhead are a biggest 10-11 with Blue Square.
