BAYERN MUNICH were at their irresistible best in last week's Bundesliga opener, hammering Hamburg with new boys Douglas Costa and Arturo Vidal catching the eye.

Today Pep Guardiola's men travel to a Hoffenheim side who lost their best player, Brazil striker Roberto Firmino, to Liverpool this summer and it's likely to be more of the same from the champs.

Bayern have netted six goals without conceding in the sides' past two meetings and I'm taking them in the race to two goals market at Ladbrokes (first team to score two goals) at 2-5.

Double this up with Schalke at home to Darmstadt who are new to the top flight after back-to-back promotions.

Schalke racked up an impressive 3-0 win at Werder Bremen last week and are 8-13 in the race to two goals market.

Last year's runners-up Wolfsburg look set to lose star man Kevin De Bruyne with the Belgian on the brink of finalising his drawn-out move to Man City. He was off the boil in last week's win over Frankfurt and Wolfsburg are still without Andre Schurrle and keeper Diego Benaglio for today's trip to Cologne.

Both meetings last season were full of goals and I fancy over 2.5 and both teams to score at evens with bet365.

I'm tempted to add Leverkusen away to a Hannover side who only avoided relegation by the skin of their teeth last season. But with Leverkusen set to ring the changes ahead of their Champions League play-off second leg, I'm going for both to teams to score – which has come up in the last three meetings of the clubs at on Hannover's home ground.

And to complete the small-stakes treble I'm adding Roma (3-4, BetVictor) away to Hellas Verona in the Serie A opener. Roma had the second best defensive record in Italy's top flight last term and have bolstered their attack over summer with the addition of Eden Dzeko and Mohamed Salah.
