MAN UNITED, Man City and Chelsea – that will be the first three in the Premier League this season.

That's the easy part done – predicting the correct order is much more difficult.

Bookies go City, United, Chelsea but it's tough to split the Manchester giants.

Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Jose Mourinho haven't rolled up at Old Trafford to finish second.

But Pep Guardiola didn't quit Bayern for a runners-up medal and Antonio Conte, whose daughter's name translates as Victory, will be determined to be in the mix. That's how much winning means to the Italian.

City are bookies favourites at 13-5 with Betfred with United a biggest 18-5 with sportingbet. Chelsea are 13-2 at Paddy Power but that will drop if they splash the cash and I'd advise an each-way bet (three places).

Leicester will go well again – and top six or seven would still be a success for the champions – and Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs will compete for the fourth Champions League spot.

Jamie Vardy should be banging in the goals again and is worth a look each way at 18-1 with Paddy Power and Coral to top score. To top this market I'm looking at Aguero at 7-2 with firms such as Betfred and William Hill – if Pep can make him better he's got some player on his hands.

At the other end of the table the three promoted sides are being tipped to go down. I'm sure Hull and Burnley will drop out and both are odds on while Middlesbrough, with the best chance of survival, are 9-4 at Paddy Power.

Hull look set to finish bottom and are 2-1 at McBookie and Betfred to do so.

It promises to be a fascinating season and the big guns will be looking to get off to a flier this weekend. Man City are first of my title challengers in action in the tea-time live game at home to David Moyes's Sunderland.

Pep should make a winning start but with City just 1-4 at firms such as Ladbrokes consider minus one at 7-10 with Coral or Aguero to score first at 5-2 with Betfred. United should win at Bournemout tomorrow and Chelsea face a tough opener at home to West Ham on Monday.

One of the best bets of the opening weekend should be Leicester who appropriately get us under way at Hull. The champions are 1-1 at Betfred and William Hill and I'm on Vardy to break the deadlock at 9-2 with Paddy Power.

I'm not doing too much else on day one of the Premier League although Spurs look not bad at 6-4 generally at Everton.

Norwich were one of my top tips last week and they started well with a 4-1 rout of Blackburn. Alex Neil's men face a tougher test at home to Sheffield Wednesday and while they should win I prefer both to score at 19-20 with William Hill.

Newcastle let many people down by losing their opener at Fulham but St James' Park will be packed out today and fans should be cheering a home win against Huddersfield at 8-11 with BetVictor.

Best bets in League One should be Gillingham who are 11-10 at home to Bury and in League Two I like Carlisle at home to Plymouth and Luton at home to Yeovil.
